I had a wonderful evening dining at Casa Lisboa with my pals. We ordered so much food. They were so good. algarvia salad ~ love the natural sweetness of beetroot, carrot and avocado. very refreshing!Sizzling garlic octopus. it was truly sizzling. the garlic smelled so good. although I should avoid seafood I had a scoop on my bread.I knew I had to stop eating seafood before my allergy kicked-in so I could only watch my friends had the clams which smells so good.meanwhile i had my refreshing Mock

I had a wonderful evening dining at Casa Lisboa with my pals. We ordered so much food. They were so good.

algarvia salad ~ love the natural sweetness of beetroot, carrot and avocado. very refreshing!
Sizzling garlic octopus. it was truly sizzling. the garlic smelled so good. although I should avoid seafood I had a scoop on my bread.
I knew I had to stop eating seafood before my allergy kicked-in so I could only watch my friends had the clams which smells so good.
meanwhile i had my refreshing Mocktail
I heard the quail here taste very good. I knew we ordered a lot of food so I planned to have 1 piece but in the end I had 2 because it was so well marinaded, grilled but was juicy.
My friends had the beef dish while I focused on my suckling pig. it was so crispy I was trying to pick a piece by my fork. I can only hear crackling sound. but the meat was tender and juicy. i loved it very very much.
Sweet and aromatic port wine was wonderful. no bitterness, lovely to drink and had some well aged cheeses.
then finished the dinner with creamy cake and a thinny sliced pineapple wrapped ice cream with wine soaked sponge cake, topped with mint leaves and peppercorn. definitely want to go there again!!

炸馬介休球配蒜蓉蛋黃醬
從來都很喜歡這類型的炸物,無論是西班牙的croquette,還是葡萄牙的codfish cakes,統統都很喜歡。這裡的炸馬介休球做得很好,炸得十分香脆,馬介休的份量亦足,充滿了鹹香;吃時沾上旁邊的蒜蓉蛋黃醬,味道上更加的豐富。

吃過精彩萬分的主菜到甜品時間,亦深深擊中車媽媽的心因為是菠蘿喔!Pineapple Raviolis菠蘿薄片配開心果海綿蛋糕$85,透薄的菠蘿包裹著開心果海綿蛋糕,連同雜莓跟薄荷葉放入口中那份滿足難以形容,最終我足足吃了三件之多啊~

接著最後選有Tigelada葡式軟蛋餅$80,這是葡萄牙傳統獨有的葡式軟蛋糕,蛋餅由麵粉、牛奶、蛋黃和雲呢拿調製再用砂煲在焗爐烹調而成,蛋餅質感如布甸般軟熟味道香甜十分可口,伴以雲呢拿同吃冷熱交鋒的滋味確吸引!這夜我真的吃得很愜意,以後葡菜癮起不須過大海也可盡享葡國美食了!

Beginning with a cold crab salad with toast, it is in fact a delicious mix of poached crabmeat, mayonnaise, onion and celery. One couldn’t leave Casa Lisboa without trying their signature suckling pig dish. It comes with a chourico baked rice, some chips and a homemade gravy; the suckling pig is marinated in traditional Bairrada style and grilled for three hours, very succulent with a perfect crackling skin, impressive!

A new feature on the menu is a Portuguese sandwich, or burger, looked super cheesy and packed with flavoursome roast beef, pork belly, and a fried egg on top, despite the house sauce is a bit too salty for my liking.

For dessert, it is a conventional serradura pudding made with layers of fine biscuit crumbs and delicate smooth cream; whilst I adore the refreshing pineapple, vanilla and pistachio sponge ravioli with a strong alcohol aftertaste!

My cousin recommended one of her favorite Portuguese restaurant so we went there on a Tuesday night, and it turned out to be an amazing night. The food was splendid. The octopus was extremely fresh and soft but with a firm texture. We were greeted with an aromatic combination of olive oil and garlic. As a non-garlic lover, I was surprised that the garlic was the most impressive and critical ingredient in this dish. I could not believe that garlic can be so creamy and yet not pungent. I ended up finishing all the garlics by myself. This dish was a very nice appetizer.

As named after this restaurant, this dish was no way disappointing. Clams were fresh and clean, with a hint of seawater. The sauce was added with tomato and onion, mading it organically savory and appetizing. I highly recommend a piece of bread dipped in this sauce.

The Codfish cakes were crispy and creamy with a balanced flavor. It didn't taste oily at all. The mayonnaise sauce was a nice touch and matched with the fried codfish well.

Together with crispy bread, this dish was unbeatable. The cold and creamy Sapateira contained sweet crabmeat mixed with mayonnaise and other excellent ingredient, creating a complex and rich flavor. The crispiness brought out the interesting side of this dish, enriching the mouthfeel.

The duck meat was shredded and hidden inside the rice. It was not like the traditional duck meat which is salty. The meat juice came out from the duck and went into the rice which created a dense taste. The chorizo and pork belly were also outstanding and tangy. This dish, surprisingly, resembled the taste of Casserole Rice in Hong Kong, but with an addition of exotic impression.

Slow cook beef is always delicious, so as this dish. The meat was absolutely juicy and soft. The beef taste was strong and unforgettable. The minced sweet potatoes were an accidental delight. Such special sweetness was a very good alternative to other side dishes for steaks.

This main course was our last and also the best one. Unlike risotto, this dish was offered with plenty of sauce. The sauce was made from the essence of lobster head, and later cooked with various kinds of seafood such as lobster meat, clams, shrimps and mussels. This tasted like lobster soup but with a richer flavor. The mouthfeel was so delicate that we couldn’t stop eating. We would definitely want to order another one if our stomachs were not too full. A highly recommended dish.

Finally, we were told that the desserts here are also worth trying, so we ordered 2 desserts. The first one was Pineapple, vanilla ice-cream & pistachio sponge raviolis. The pineapple were very fine-sliced that it melted in you mouth directly. It was sour and sweet. The raviolis were made for one bite so I would suggest eating it in such way.


Port Wine drunken pear with cheesecake texture
This is a classic dessert as well. The wine was fully absorbed by the pear and the dish was well flavored. It was slightly sweet and fresh. A well made dessert.

Overall, the restaurant got a very fine dining atmosphere. The food was perfect. Also, the cook, and manager and the owner in this restaurant were very nice and asked us about the food. It was amazing to dine there. Will definitely go again.

繼而即開朋友的自携心水,2013 condrieu laurus,gabriel meffre,特色是帶有一種特別的香水香氛,真是嗅覺的享受,與餐廳的酒比下去,這支自然優勝得多。

人尚未齊,七嘴八舌已經開始,朋友林先生話吃過這裡的 smoked sardines 超級好食,他一向都是我們的飲食 KOL,大家如何不心動!於是即時決定加菜作小吃,只可惜,餐廳回覆今晚竟然沒有準備,在大失所望之時,經理轉過頭來話大廚建議,特別為我們煎幾條新鮮沙甸,見他有誠意,自然接受。

想不到喜出望外,隨意煎香調味的新鮮沙甸魚,估唔到既能吃到細魚的魚鮮及濃郁魚味,卻又完全沒有腥味,細骨幼軟可吃,連頭吃味不苦亦不用吐骨,配合洋蔥、番茄、芫荽、辣椒及橄欖油等非常夾。

葡式釀蟹蓋,之前在澳門吃過的有加咖哩粉,地道Sapateira風格卻沒有,因此更能吃出本味,食落有洋蔥、雞蛋、mayonnaise 沙律醬、香草、甜辣椒等成份,最重要是蟹肉足料,吃到啖啖蟹肉口感超滿足,香鮮豐富。

配片極脆之多士同吃,口感增層次,味道有種說不出的鮮美香辛,朋人話有些做法會加少許啤酒吊味及芥末香辛,因此我亦細意嚐真,覺得亦有可能,但甘辛味皆不強烈,無論如何,味道討好,招牌菜實至名歸。

另一款首本名菜,把傳統葡萄牙經典菜式 Piri-Piri chicken 法式化,主角改用法國鵪鶉,先以辣椒、蜜糖、葡萄牙白酒、迷迭香及百里香等香草醃味48小時,然後烤焗,最後上桌前再用火鎗燒焦鵪鶉下面的迷迭香,香氣揮發樸鼻,刺激味蕾,尤其見外表的焦烤烙印,更加垂涎欲滴!

好高興今次同屋企人慶祝生日食飯唔再係去同一間中餐廳,哈哈!主人翁選擇咗之前位於LKF Tower嘅葡國菜 Casa Lisboa, 新地址就喺雲咸街,Fringe Club附近。地方比舊址細,呢排大玻璃窗就令空間感大大提高!侍應們都好樂意俾recommendation👍🏻剛好外藉老闆在場,佢好好客咁同每枱嘅客人打招呼 chit chat 幾句,感覺就好似大家去咗佢屋企gathering咁,都幾warm㗎!侍應送上生日甜品嘅時候,仲唱埋生日歌添🎉

The starters include a delicious crab salad, beetroot salad from Algarve, and octopus with olive oil and garlic. Yummy! I tried the Francesinha for main course, and its no worse than what ull get in the city of Porto, where this famous dish originated. The dessert options include a delicious pineapple ravioli. We missed out Portuguese cuisine when we were travelling Macau, so we came here to make up for our palate... We were greeted by friendly hosts and were seated at far quiet end of the dining area. There was a good range of both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks... We ordered bacalhau a braz for entree, octopus confit and duck rice for mains, and pineapple ravioli and chocolate cake for desserts. I particularly like the clams as starters. So fresh and nicely cooked and seasoned. The main course we chose were perfectly cooked. Always wanted to try the relocated Casa and finally gotten a chance to do that today. I believe most of the Hong Kong people will agree with me that it's quite difficult to find good Portuguese food in Hong Kong, Casa has been around long enough as one of the better ones in Hong Kong. My experience today was decent but I wouldn't say I'm surprised with the quality of the food. The semi tapas style food would normally work quite nicely but with this restaurant I think it's kind of in the middle,

Always wanted to try the relocated Casa and finally gotten a chance to do that today. I believe most of the Hong Kong people will agree with me that it's quite difficult to find good Portuguese food in Hong Kong, Casa has been around long enough as one of the better ones in Hong Kong.

My experience today was decent but I wouldn't say I'm surprised with the quality of the food. The semi tapas style food would normally work quite nicely but with this restaurant I think it's kind of in the middle, it's not small enough to be a traditional tapas while it's not big enough to feed nicely. The quail as appetizer and duck rice as main were good, but the rest I do not find very interesting.

The silver lining is where all the staff are pretty attentive and quite nice. The manager offered free dessert which was quite thoughtful. We ordered cocktails there but it's hard to say those are very outstandingly. Conclusion is that food was average but services were exceptional. The price I guess was fair given the fact that we had quite some cocktails there. The seats however was quite uncomfortable and I think it's pretty packed and I would appreciate it if there were more space.
