由於閨蜜生日,所以悉心安排到呢間餐廳慶祝,基本上我同我閨蜜都好滿意餐廳環境同埋食物質素,基於閨蜜生日,安排叫甜品芝士蛋糕,再加上響碟上寫上Happy birthday,諗住打下卡, 見侍應哥哥仔捧上蛋糕插上蠟燭,連同其他侍應一齊嚟唱生日歌,滿心歡喜之際,侍應哥哥放低蛋糕,跟住有小強爬咗上隻碟上邊,氣氛非常尷尬,侍應哥哥即刻拎走,冇講任何嘢,本來閨蜜話唔要蛋糕,我堅持話要打卡,隔咗大約10分鐘再捧上蛋糕,侍應哥哥講咗聲對唔住,但係我哋兩個已經冇胃口😂😂明白食肆有小強係無可避免,但係連碟上有啲怪怪🤣🤣

Seeing their famous Pistachio burnt basque cheesecake was a hit in social media, this restaurant has been on my list for long. My friend randomly suggested this restaurant for our gathering, I was pretty looking forward. Restaurant doesn't has must design but mainly dark theme with some plants placing near the window. Seeing their famous Pistachio burnt basque cheesecake was a hit in social media, this restaurant has been on my list for long. My friend randomly suggested this restaurant for our gathering, I was pretty looking forward.

Restaurant doesn't has must design but mainly dark theme with some plants placing near the window. Seatings were packed, not the most comfortable ones. We ordered smoked salmon, avocado quinoa salad with honey mustard dressing, porcini wild mushroom truffle risotto and Iberico Jamon mozzarella pizza. For drinks, i had the iced hojicha latte.

Smoked salmon avocado quinoa salad was served in a big plate. Portion was good for sharing. Smoked salmon were in big pieces. Love that it wasn't salty or fatty. Mixed greens were fresh with drizzled quinoa and salad dressing. Right amount of dressing that greens were still fresh. Avocado was just ripe with sprinkled paprika, but couldn't add in much flavour.

A light truffle aroma could be smelled when the food came because of the big dollop of truffle topped. Visually risotto itself was attempting while oddly to be garnished with some chilli thread and sprouts on the side. It was relatively hard to mix with the risotto, some bite was in big chunks of garnish; not much intense flavour but texture was a bit odd. Risotto was alright. Neither too thick nor too watery. Arborio rice cooked just right, sauce just well coated and absorbed instead of too heavy and creamy. Mixed with loaded mushrooms. It will be grateful if cracking black pepper or a drizzle with a good quality of extra virgin olive oil for an extra lift.

Iberico Jamon mozzarella pizza was another dish good for sharing. Crust wasn't dough base, more on a biscuit side. Crunchy and lightly toasted. Appreciate their generous amount of mozzarella that made the dish indulgent. Nicely melted Mozarella nicely glued all the toppings. Loaded Jamon gave a hint of savouriness which uplifted the light creamy mozzarella. Few arugula were topped but kind of falling apart as didnt glue with the melted choose. Yet, nice to have some bitterness balanced through the meaty saltiness.

Here it came the moment I was most excited about, enjoying their pistachio burnt basque cheesecake. Visually, it was in a garden theme. Not only because of the bright green colour but the floral garnish and drizzled with pistachio nibbles. Forking in, it had a similar texture of a new york cheesecake but a less hard one. Love they drizzled extra layer of pistachio sauce which moistened the baked cheesecake own tough texture. A hint of pistachio flavour with creamy taste. Extra crunch from the pistachio nibbles. It was delicious. Personally will recommend to share the piece of cake as after your main meal, it started getting heavier and richer. All in all, not bad.

Their ice hojicha latte unfortunately more on a milky side. Should have asked for less ice or even no ice because it's getting tasteless after every sip. First sip didn't have much hojicha flavour coming through. More on their milk flavour instead.

Overall, food was alright. Their signature pistachio burn basque cheesecake in fact pretty unique, worth for a drop by and give it a go. Love to see them invest more on dessert.

係Open Rice睇左邊度有好野食,咁啱睇到衣間食評唔錯,就同朋友試試,因為有book位,所以可以坐卡位,職員話如果唔係就要坐bar枱。當時未係最繁忙,但已經感受到好香嘅油煙野食味,可能我地坐個位近廚房掛,入到嚟冇咩冷氣,講真都幾焗,咁我同我fd睇menu,我fd話個menu d字好心大隻d,d 燈光又暗,真係睇到暈暈地😅,佢講完我都有啲同感嘅!講完感受,講下食物,我地唔肚餓,只係食左牛油果軟殼蟹漢堡包同蟹膏蟹肉卡邦尼,兩個都好好味,漢堡包真係值得推介,如果少多少少醬汁就perfect ,因為同fd share,所以食完個包之後,再食卡邦尼已經凍左啲,但都好味😋!

預訂中午到這間小店午餐,看見餐廳差不多全滿,及客人一枱接一枱,相信是一間不錯的餐廳。外面天氣很熱,入到餐廳坐好後亦不會感覺太冷,由於太肚餓所以立即點嘢食,然後見openrice有杯好靚既飲品,再問waitness姐姐係咩,佢話係 "櫻花草莓乳酪牛奶" 於是落埋order等食。美食已一一上桌,食到中段成身汗,要要求調低些冷氣溫度,再熱多約15-20分鐘才感到涼快。太熱關係杯嘢飲仲未到﹐原來漏單,再等到差唔多食完再問,佢話水吧係耐少少,等咗咁耐,發現係佢地落錯單。唉!已經漏單,補單又耐,最後仲要錯,真係經典....- 蟹膏蟹肉卡邦尼:好香蟹味,意粉亦很彈牙,有諗過意粉自制的。卡邦尼醬料味道剛剛好,食了一半也未有感到膩而蟹膏蟹肉已不少。很好吃,Yummy!- 油封鴨腿配窩夫、血橙:一上枱已聞到好香既油封鴨味。油封鴨外皮好香脆,鴨肉好多汁,但有啲部位比較乾柴,再點特制醬,又甜又香。窩夫係一般水準,點特制醬後的血橙,有少少酸酸甜甜的味道,好開胃!- 英式炸魚配魚松露薯條:炸魚及薯條都炸得很香脆,但又唔乾,而魚肉好多汁及好滑;薯條上撒滿魚松露粉,所以食落好重的黑魚松露味道。雖然味道不錯,但服務及環

- 英式炸魚配魚松露薯條:炸魚及薯條都炸得很香脆,但又唔乾,而魚肉好多汁及好滑;薯條上撒滿魚松露粉,所以食落好重的黑魚松露味道。


雖然味道不錯,但服務及環境不是我的喜好!

好食的餐廳系要支持, Layback 已經吃過三數次,通常諗吾到食乜就會諗起佢,但仲未有緣試到tiramisu ,今次目標明確一定要食到。原來這裡Weekend 超爆場,好彩系openrice 訂咗位,吾使等可以直入。所以friendly reminder 大家記得先系Openrice online 訂位。入到去雖然坐得有啲迫,天氣咁熱起碼吾使響電梯口等先。大家都好餓立即行動點食物。法式煎封油鴨髀等得比較耐,但奉上時感覺幾有睇頭,油鴨髀份量足,皮脆肉嫩;火候控制得宜,有水準,配菜就普通咗啲。Tiramisu 是我喜歡的形狀,不是cut cake 般硬巴巴,我喜歡是半凝固狀態的tiramisu 。Mascarpone Cheese 入口好香好滑,lady figure 充滿酒香,和芝士的比例好均勻,口感濕潤,幼滑可口,同時亦有豐富的朱古力粉 favour,味道在掌握之內,讚!原來埋單才發現我地連飲品都冇叫,吾怪硬系爭啲野。

法式煎封油鴨髀
等得比較耐,但奉上時感覺幾有睇頭,
油鴨髀份量足,皮脆肉嫩;
火候控制得宜,有水準,配菜就普通咗啲。

Tiramisu
是我喜歡的形狀,不是cut cake 般硬巴巴,我喜歡是半凝固狀態的tiramisu 。Mascarpone Cheese 入口好香好滑,lady figure 充滿酒香,和芝士的比例好均勻,口感濕潤,幼滑可口,同時亦有豐富的朱古力粉 favour,味道在掌握之內,讚!

原來埋單才發現我地連飲品都冇叫,吾怪硬系爭啲野。

開心果巴斯克芝士蛋糕一件索價$78, 明知貴, 也要了一件。蛋糕面有開心果碎和橙乾, 旁邊有食用花陪襯, 十分適合打卡。蛋糕偏大件, 適合2人餐後分享。蛋糕質感軟綿順滑, 開心果味道明顯, 與開心果碎同吃, 增添口感。橙乾雖香, 但橙皮有丁點苦澀, 宜與蛋糕同吃, 中和當中的苦澀味道。

食物質數同服務態度非常之好。一如既往上openrice 搵食,為放便舊同事就睇吓有邊間餐廳,咁啱見到layback cafe and bar, 就去試吓啦。入到餐廳,店內員工面帶笑容招呼我入坐,友人都好鍾意侍應恰度好處嘅服務,最令我哋驚雅,朋友唔小心整瀉咗啲水,我哋未出聲,佢哋已經拎咗餐巾同濕紙巾俾朋友。好貼心嘅服務♥️。一種已消失嘅細心醒目服務再次遇到。好開心呀!食物質素好好,朋友叫咗炸魚薯條份量好大份,超值。我份沙律都好大份味道唔錯。完全感受到廚師用心整作。

這一間無疑是我最喜愛的餐廳,試菜菜單中所有所有菜式都十分優秀、令人驚嘆。麵絕對是我的最愛!物超所值!薄餅很優質,亦有烤寬麵條,帶子更是我吃過之中質素最高的,甜點種類不單多而且味道也十分好。我一家人都十分喜歡在這個地方用餐,這裡的員工都非常友善。當然,餐廳的食物質數也很高,雞肉非常美味,加上蒜醬很完美,水果配雪糕也很好吃,強烈推薦!

- ¨̮♡︎ My friend had a long busy work day and she wanted some cafe food for dinner. Had no idea which one to go so we did some searching on openrice. Seeing many people give high ratings and recommendations to this cafe so we decided to come give it a try. Arrived at 20:15, we didnt make reservation and the cafe was fully seated. A staff told us we just need to wait for 10 minutes as a table of customers had finished their food and would be leaving very soon. We told her okay then we'll be sitting

My friend had a long busy work day and she wanted some cafe food for dinner. Had no idea which one to go so we did some searching on openrice. Seeing many people give high ratings and recommendations to this cafe so we decided to come give it a try.
Arrived at 20:15, we didnt make reservation and the cafe was fully seated. A staff told us we just need to wait for 10 minutes as a table of customers had finished their food and would be leaving very soon. We told her okay then we'll be sitting outside waiting for that table. With 15mins passed, we still got no seat so we went in again to double check. A few staff were standing around the entrance but none came to help. At the same time, people who came even later than us had entered so something must be going wrong. Waited for another 5mins, we finally got to talk to the staff and found out they forgot about us😓 They apologized and arranged us to get in the next available table.

Waited for 45mins in total and finally got in at 21:00🫠 Super hungry so we quickly placed order once seated. We ordered Tai O dried prawn & scallop risotto in lobster bisque, soft shell crab avocado burger, truffle chips, iced pistachio milk and iced earl grey latte. The staff did double check with us to confirm if order was correct.

Drinks came to table first. At first sight, I gave my 'earl grey latte' a 10/10, very good visual with some rose petals floating on top. After taking a sip, I started to doubt if the staff placed wrong order. A very weird drink with no earl grey flavor at all. Couldn't describe its exact taste so I asked my friend to try and see if my taste bud was doing right. My friend also gave a 🤔 face after taking a sip, but still, we chose to believe it's a earl grey latte given that the staff repeated our order correctly.

Risotto came next, and again I'd rate its visual 10/10. The taste didn't give me a wow. Risotto was creamy and not too thick. Individual grains are slightly firm with a discernable texture👍🏻 But the 2 dried prawn was very hard to chew and scallops were a bit fishy🫤 Burger and truffle fries came right after. Size was huge, bun was soft and buttery. Fried soft shell crab was a bit oily, made the burger quite heavy to eat especially with the sauce drizzled and avocado added. Truffle fries was the star of tonight, fried golden with crispy texture outside and soft mushy texture inside. Strong truffle aroma with earthy fragrance👍🏻 At this point, my friend suddenly told me to look under the table. I saw a cockroach right next to my feet🫠 I was scared to death and afraid it to climb up my leg so we quickly finished the food and asked the staff to bring us the bill.

The drink mystery was finally solved when the bill came, turned out the staff really placed wrong order. Iced rose / hazelnut / mint / honey latte was showing on the receipt instead of earl grey latte😅 No wonder the taste was so complicated. Staff came and asked what's our payment method and I answered card. Then he asked me to wait, 10mins later, he came back and ask if I'm going to do alipay😓 Really speechless with their service.

Overall food was average, I'd expect more with this price. Big room of improvement for their service and hygiene, staff are too forgetful and inattentive🥹
