Arroz Negro en Paella con Esparragos Verdes y Allioli
Paella with squid ink, fresh squid and juicy green asparagus. The allioli sauce tasted slightly garlic which enhanced the taste of the black ink sauce. The firm and al dente rice had well absorbed the umami from the squid.
Pollo del Bueno Rustido al Ajillo
Oven-roasted chicken with garlic in a savory gravy. Tender and succulent chicken leg which was roasted to the right point. Served with sauteed mushrooms and pumpkin puree.
Crema Catalana
Spanish version of creme brulee - lighter and more milky. Smooth custard with hints of cinnamon. Crunchy caramelized sugar crust. Balanced sweetness.
Bola de Helado del Dia
Ice cream of the day was passion fruit flavor. Icy like a sorbet. Perfect finish of the meal.
