Our second time here, we snagged a spot on the 2nd floor with its cozy tatami seating, plush sofas, and massive words screaming '見字飲啡' (literal translation: drink coffee upon seeing these words) plastered across the wall𝐋𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐮Starting from HKD78, there are 5 types of spaghettis and risottos on the lunch menu. You can add on snacks from HKD32 and get a discount of HKD15 off all beverages.𝗧𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗶 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗳𝗳𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗵𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶 𝗛𝗞𝗗𝟳𝟴This was a truffle extravaganza with two tortellonis oozing with cheese and truffle goodness, perched atop a bed of creamy spaghetti teeming with mushrooms. We were pretty impressed by the bold flavours that shine through without overwhelming our taste buds.𝗖𝗿𝗮𝗯 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘆 𝗣𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗸𝗶𝗻 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗼 𝗛𝗞𝗗𝟵𝟴With an abundance of crab meat and hint of pumpkin flavour, the risotto had a slight chewiness and light texture that was just right𝐒𝐧𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐬𝗔𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗼 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗱 𝗛𝗞𝗗𝟯𝟴Highly recommend! The portion was much bigger than expected with half a luscious avocado nestled amidst a colorful array of fresh leaves and cherry tomatoes, all drizzled with a tantalizing black vinegar dressing𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗕𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 (𝟲 𝗽𝗰𝘀) 𝗛𝗞𝗗𝟯𝟴These crispy delights reminded us of McWings but better, as each succulent wing was conveniently single boned. Dip into the sauce if you want to kick up the heat.𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐬𝗜𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲 𝗛𝗞𝗗𝟱𝟮Loved that we could customise the flavour by pouring in the exact amount of milk, black sesame and syrup to make our ideal cup, plus it was pure satisfaction to watch the black sesame blend into the milk𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘄𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗛𝗞𝗗𝟱𝟲This was super refreshing with the perfect blend of strawberry syrup and rich milk. Randomly picked this place from Open Rice for meeting up my friends at 5pm. All the waiters and waitresses here had no uniform so I had no clue who I should look for when I stepped into the restaurant. Then a girl in casual wear just asked me to wait with a not very friendly attitude. The ground floor is really crammed… six diners seated at three small tables, plus one bigger round table filled with a crowd of young people laughing and playing with a dog… they are the staff here…?!?!They signalled us to go to the second floor and there were only two tables of four diners there. The boy serving us was with a cold attitude and finally we got our food. The salmon salad is normal. This scallop meitako pasta is really good. Love the special shape and the taste very much. This meitako omelet with crab meat’s highly recommended in OpenRice. But indeed, it’s rather tough… nothing special and u’ll find bits of crab shells in the omelet…. I personally would not recommend it. The drinks are normal. But the point is the servers there were absolutely far from pleasant and not attentive at all. For more than 15 mins there’s no one on the second floor. We had to go down to look for someone who could take our order and their cold manner…. We wanted to place order for the second time but in the end we gave up becoz their indifferent manner really killed our appetite. We ended up going to another restaurant. 😒
