The steak tartare, instead of minced, is cut into small bits. This allowed us to still have a feeling of eating the beef, which was quite springy. It was seasoned minimally allowing us to taste the freshness of the steak tartare. The grilled sourdough bread went well with the steak tartare but it was not as crispy as I wanted it to be.

The skin of the spring chicken was roasted and seasoned to perfection. Despite the roast, the chicken was still juicy and the rosemary was a nice touch. The preferred it without the lemon though you can add it to just one piece to see how you like it.

Another thing famous about this steakhouse is its sundae, which they describe as not suitable for children, due to the alcohol they add to it.

I chose the Hazelnut and Figs. I have to say I didn't taste any alcohol in it. However, it's still a great dessert on its own. The figs were sweet and the hazelnut cream being very rich.

The vanilla ice cream  was also a great surprise. You can see the vanilla seeds in it(Hope you can see it in this picture). You can order a bigger one if you want to share it with others.

講到grand Hyatt茶園就食得多,以外果幾間真係咁多年都未食過,今年除咗食茶園之外終於試咗佢地間Steakhouse當晚坐窗邊吧位其實都幾得意,兩個人都對住窗又有個框框好似告解室咁哈哈,食物就有啲失望,開頭係唔錯的,前菜蟹餅啖啖蟹肉又煎得夠香口,洋蔥湯夠哂甜,塊面索盡湯汁不得了,但去到主菜就覺得一般smoked beef short rib雖然煮足四十八個鐘,肉質好夠腍,但陣BBQ味好似蓋過哂所有味,淨係食到係一嚿肉食唔到牛味咁滯,mac&cheese又係失望,健康到直情覺得淡而無味,後來聽聞佢地出名鴨脂薯條,蠢咗無叫哈哈不過最後甜品都多返唔少分,朋友揀個apple crumble 感覺還好,有軟雪糕配幾得意但唔係話好驚艷,反而件朱古力蛋糕好正,蛋糕層/焦糖層/脆脆夾埋七八層layer夠哂豐富,過百蚊件蛋糕係幾貴但卻係成餐最好食囉,有機會再黎的話要試下其他扒先

smoked beef short rib雖然煮足四十八個鐘,肉質好夠腍,但陣BBQ味好似蓋過哂所有味,淨係食到係一嚿肉食唔到牛味咁滯,mac&cheese又係失望,健康到直情覺得淡而無味,後來聽聞佢地出名鴨脂薯條,蠢咗無叫哈哈

不過最後甜品都多返唔少分,朋友揀個apple crumble 感覺還好,有軟雪糕配幾得意但唔係話好驚艷,反而件朱古力蛋糕好正,蛋糕層/焦糖層/脆脆夾埋七八層layer夠哂豐富,過百蚊件蛋糕係幾貴但卻係成餐最好食囉,有機會再黎的話要試下其他扒先

Incredible service and attention, with gratuitous and very welcome touches (like a birthday photo card!). You'll pay handsomely for the food and experience, but somehow you'll feel like it was worth every penny.

For my friend's bday, thought we'd try a proper steak place, after so many years of avoiding them. After doing some research the Hyatt Steakhouse seemed like the best combination of quality, variety and value (such as it is as high-end steak places...). I booked online a few weeks earlier, and they were extremely accommodating even when i had to change days last-minute. Note, this place is BIG - many rooms and tables spread comfortably across a giant space. Even with all this space, they were packed on the Monday we went, with every table full until 10 or so. Further, on Fridays and weekends there's two separate seatings - one before 7 and one from 845, so take that into account;  we spent about 2.5 hrs at dinner without realizing it. It's dark and very old-school. with plenty of mahogany and dark booths. Classic upscale steakhouse feel.

Though i know next to nothing about steak, I loved the variety of beef they offer, from Spanish free-range to Welsh Organic. They also offer ACTUALLY appealing non-beef options, and i'd love to try the Iberico porkchop or ribs next time i visit. The sides list is amazing and the appetizers, though pricey (330 for crabcakes is woof), are comprehensive.

One thing about service before we get into the food. I had booked this place 2 weeks in advance with some specific instructions for some birthday wishes on the dessert, which they confirmed by phone at that time. After the meal though, we were too full for dessert and I hadn't mentioned the request at all, so i expected them to just let it go quietly. Not only did they bring out the message unsolicited, they served it on a delicious complementary dessert, with a candle no less. They even printed out a picture of us with the cake, and presented it in a souvenir card! For all you cynics, i know this is nothing monetarily for a place like this, but that's really missing the point. Making the customer feel special (in a non-tacky way) and providing inconspicuous yet constant attention is what service at high-end restaurants should aspire to be. 

The wine list is extensive as you'd imagine and about as expensive. We had a 2016 Alain Graillot Crozes-Hermitage (N. Rhone) and it was delicious, if a bit young. At about 2-3x retail price, it's not outrageous, (though was still HKD 740) and a good choice if you don't want to blow the budget on wine. This was one of the cheapest bottles on offer FYI.

Okay, on with the food:

Salad Bar: it's a pretty great salad bar: Multiple cheeses, cocktail shrimp, a really tasty liver pate, freshly tossed caesar salad, at least 10 choices of various salad types, house-smoked salmon, and a giant iberico ham leg they slice pieces off of.  It's tasty for sure, and at 360, it's actually worth it compared to the other appetizers. That said, DO NOT EAT AT THE SALAD BAR. It's delicious enough that you'll eat too much - you're here for steak! I was a bit too full to really enjoy the steak... terrible decision.

Classic in every way. These were very pricey, but are essentially filler-free - just pure crab stuffed together and pan-fried. My friend loved them but i found them a bit bland. Worth it if you like these, but not an ounce of surprise. We forgot to take a pic before eating- there should be three generously-sized crab cakes in the pic

 We added the bone marrow, which I absolutely do not get, but which again, my friend loved. According to her, it's a perfectly executed bone marrow side, whatever that means - it all tastes like fat to me.

The ribeye cap was delicious though - perfectly medium rare and while not as fatty as i was expecting, had tons flavor and was amazing with the mushroom gravy, one of the 6 (!) types of mustard or just with salt.

We were going for variety, so we had the foie gras side on this one (a pretty reasonable 90$), which i heard was great. Dry aging completely changes this steak... full of beef flavor, with almost a smokey bite when you chew it. It was much leaner than the ribeye cap, but after getting used to it being a bit firmer, we both enjoyed this cut more. Phenomenal, and i'd recommend you try one of these if you go.

This might be my most unequivocal recommendation here - I THINK they're both baked and pan-fried, so they are crunchy, but remain wonderfully moist. The skin seems to be still on every slice which i know is impossible, but really improves the texture of the potatoes. The seasoning is perfectly savory/spicy while the light touch on the aioli gives it a rich edge. A must-order side and a big improvement from the usual boring mashed potatoes or fries that steakhouses offer.

Dessert was a swirl of their delicious soft-serve ice cream and a small slice of their amazing chocolate cake. Would recommend you try both of these if you like dessert, and if you have room (the 2nd is unlikely).

The two of us paid a truly insane 3400 for this meal, but somehow i feel it was worth it. If you skip the crab cakes and salad bar, (which were completely superfluous) you're comfortably below 2700, which i think is a sold deal for this quality and quantity of food. Best case, with minimal appetizers and sides, you can probably get away with spending 1k pp, and even less if you aren't having wine... but you'd be missing out.

I'd hate to be so rich that this place isn't an extravagance, but it's absolutely worth special occasions or company dinners. I'm relieved that i don't typically eat steak, or the Hyatt Steakhouse would be an ever-present threat to my finances. Fantastic food, incredible service, and plenty of variety means you'll never get bored of it. It's a rare occasion that i pay this much for a meal and don't have any sticker shock the next day; great steak and a better experience. Highly recommended

曾幾何時的JJ Bar, 已經改為Steakhouse 一段時間。服務、食物、環境都是有水準的。如果有AE 白金卡可能仲有優惠添。是晚兩個人,一份Baked Snails with Herb Butter $260, 一個French Onion Soup to share, 一份20oz USDA Prime Black Rib Eye Angus $820 to share, 加了兩個side dishes $90 x 2. 仲有三小時免運汨車添!始終是酒店出品,必有品証!

This restaurant is simply one of the best in town. The atmosphere is great with the dim lighting and the absolutely friendly staff there. The salad bar is my highest recommendation for an appetiser as it contains Caesar salad, smoked salmon, cheeses of all kinds and 48-month Iberico ham. The steak there is the one you should definitely try. The steak fits perfectly with the rich barbecue sauce. Definitely recommended for everyone!

佢個環境係好安靜好靚㗎兩層,下層就係個bar area 就好似適合飲嘢,上層就係一個安靜啲嘅dining area嘅, 不過冇𨋢,要由lobby行樓梯上上層,會經過嗰個好靚嘅兩層吊燈!

Grand Hyatt Steakhouse 新推出lunch menu,仲有得揀semi-buffet salad bar,所以約咗朋友一齊嚟試吓。好幾款沙律同煙三文魚都好好味,所以同朋友食咗三round salad bar先開始食main course。我同朋友都點左steak,其實本身我唔好牛肉但係覺得嚟呢度就應該試吓佢哋嘅steak。呢個flank steak真係一啲都唔好食,好硬咬都咬唔郁,最後冇食晒。雖然有啲失望但覺得佢哋嘅lunch性價比都算係高,下次會嚟單點佢哋嘅牛扒相信會比set lunch好好多。值得一提係佢哋嘅mashed potato,我同朋友都覺得好好食。

今日閨蜜生日,打算食餐好噶慶生,然後就去食個西餐慶祝下拉,哩間西餐廳噶環境都幾好噶,很有格調,燈光柔和,坐得都幾舒服,而且服務態度都幾nice,味道都幾好,哩度噶牛扒都好可以噶,夠大份,雖然有小小鞋,但系都唔錯!

聞落去牛味好濃,食落去就肉味濃D,好味~個汁特別又好味,不過上枱時已經落左D鹽,唔落汁個肉味會濃D既!試之前以為野牛會有羶味,點知又無bor~配埋杯最愛既紅寶石🍷☺️,大愛!不過揀Medium Rare會更合適!

食到差唔多,待應哥哥問使唔使order甜品時,明明好堅定咁拒絕左。因為飽飽同埋下午食左個大朱古力新地,都好有內疚感既。。。點知。。。哥哥提議我睇下Menu有咩甜品先啦。又忍唔住叫左甜品。女人真係有第二個胃,專食甜品架。。。

呢個係我食過最好食既Apple Crumble❤️❤️❤️大愛呀!必叫呀!等左15分鐘,熱辣辣出爐,好大碟呀!蘋果甜酸度剛好,表面既金寶又香又脆!點解蘋果同金寶比例咁好既!加埋滿佈雲尼拿籽既雲尼拿雪糕,一啖Apple Crumble一啖雪糕,覺得自己好幸福呀☺️ 一凍一熱既組合,其實性格唔同都可以好夾架~

今日正日生日,原來男友訂左呢間餐廳同我慶祝,餐廳燈光暗暗地,氣氛係幾好,幾有情調訂左枱18:30 ,去到唔算多人,服務員安排左卡位比我地,於是男友就負責睇Menu 點餐,因為佢之前黎食過,而我就第一次來,佢話呢度個自助沙律吧(steak house salad bar )唔錯,於是我地點左Salad Bar ,其次當然要試一試steak 啦我地點左medium rare 。點餐後會先來的就是烘蒜蓉牛油香草法包,濃濃的蒜香及牛油味道加上熱脆的口感,幾好食,不過要留肚食其他野自助沙律吧雖然食物種類唔算太多,但質素唔差,有即切Parma Ham ,鵝肝醬,煙三文魚,凍蝦等等。。其中以Parma Ham 同鵝肝醬最出色食左兩至三round 都已經開始有D飽意,於是叫服務員上主菜steak 喇,想講用來配各式牛扒都有很多款醬汁及自家調製的芥末,大家可以按自己的喜好去選擇。牛扒比我想像中冇咁出色,不過不失最後點埋個蛋糕🍰先叫做完美,雖然本人唔太好甜品,但生日點都要叫黎慶祝下點左Chocolate Cake ,送到黎先知道原來寫左有我名既生日牌同點左蠟燭,幾Surprise ,仲會幫我地影張即影即有

四個女孩子去慶祝生日,壽星女選了這間Grand Hyatt Steak House. 這個酒店餐廳門口也是很難找的,門口也沒有服務員招呼,所以找這間餐廳也找了一會。Steak House當然要點牛扒,因為四個女孩子食量不大,我們點了兩個牛扒Share,一個是Rib eye,一個是牛柳,都點了Medium,Side dish選了黑松露鹽薯條。牛扒感覺有點乾和"鞋口",主要是有點太乾,沒有衝動想繼續再吃多一塊。另外也點了一個Crab Cake,好像也是蠻多人點的一道菜,配他他醬,OK,不過不失,但也不太特別。因為友人生日,所以選了一個貌似很好看的甜品,寫上Happy birthday,不過甜點一般般,是用Rum酒灌在雪莉內,配搭Cream一起吃,一般般,不是我喜歡的類型。總結覺得這間餐廳就是一間有點過時的扒房,無論食物種類、裝潢都有點過時老土,如果價錢不貴我的要求也不會太高,但酒店餐廳酒店價格而言,我感覺是不太合格。

食咗咁多嘢,終於到主食,斧頭扒Tomahawk Rib Eye Chop to share (Medium Rare,1,000 gram)($1,380)呢個tbh令我幾失望😞 太多筋位同埋肥肉。雖然叫Medium Rare 但係感覺似 Rare🤦🏾‍♀️救翻少少嘅係佢嘅醬料,除咗red wine sauce個啲之外仲有三種mustard比我地揀。感覺並唔值呢個價錢🙁

至於服務同環境,始終係酒店,基本上都唔會差,環境的確舒服有feel,服務亦都無得彈💃🏻🧚🏼‍♀️都適合情侶黎撐下枱腳、或者同事聚餐嘅~
