(⁎⁍̴̆Ɛ⁍̴̆⁎)there’s quite a few strong savoury flavours mixed in your mouth as you slurp the noods dipped in the sauce, can’t even find words to describe how delicious it was.(◍•ᴗ•◍) the minced meat was spicy but the spiciness comes after you swallow it, and doesn’t burn your mouth. those who love strong flavours can add black pepper and kelp vinegar to enhance the taste, but i thot the orig one alrdy had a strong taste lol so i didn’t.
the Mentaiko Cream Mazesoba had v similar ingredients to the Tokyo one, but instead of chives and bamboo shoots, it contains rocket and cod roe. sauce was a mixture of soy sauce and cream and tastes like pasta. ( ´▽` )pear vinegar was also served with mentaiko, so you can mix it into the creamy sauce. cod roe was not greasy and mixes well with the cream. However, my frd who ordered tis said that tis was too similar to western pasta and lost the jap cuisine vibe that she was craving for( ˘•ω•˘ ), she tried my Tokyo mazesoba and thot it’s more Japanese than the mentaiko one. So better pick Tokyo instead of mentaiko if u’re craving for jap styled noods, while mentaiko would be a nice fusion dish.
they had a 4 step guide teaching you how to mix the noods, add black pepper after finishing 1/3, then vinegar after 2/3, and finally their free rice after u finish the noods. love how they give rice for free and different portions of mazesoba to choose from tho, def enuf for males who wnna come!( ^ω^ ) i don’t eat ramen much but i’m loving their mazesoba somuchhhhh hahaha def coming back whenever i’m near wanchai(❁´▽`❁).ᐟ.ᐟ
