Not sure why there are quite a few bad reviews. I visited with 5 guests, and we were all quite impressed with both the food presentation and the taste. We did not order expensive items like abalones and shark fins. For the usual veggie, meat and fish dishes, the quality was definitely above average at this price point. The beef was tender, the cod was fresh and the spicy rack of lamb was very good.The food presentation was also instagram-worthy. Many reviews complained about the service, which I

Not sure why there are quite a few bad reviews. I visited with 5 guests, and we were all quite impressed with both the food presentation and the taste. The beef was tender, the cod was fresh and the spicy rack of lamb was very good.
The food presentation was also instagram-worthy. 
Many reviews complained about the service, which I agree it wasn't top-notch and needed some improvement, but it wasn't terrible either. I'll give them a 3.5 out of 5. (but there is no half-star ranking in open rice)

With credit card discount, we spent about HK$400 per person. Without discount it would have been around 500. For a dinner with good food (both presentation and taste) and nice decor (a bit over the top, though), there is not much to complain about. There are places that are more expensive, with about the same service level but offer much worse food.
