Feel like having Japanese cuisine for lunch and we tried out Kyoto Joe in California Tower. Just a few minutes walk from Central MTR station.The restaurant is spacious but quite full during lunch hour, better to book in advance (10% discount for booking via OpenRice). Grilled scallop on tofu is an interesting combination, not bad.
The veggie and shrimp tempura were crispy and not very oily.
The sliced beef were well dressed with the Teriyaki sauce, went perfectly with the rice.
Overall food quality is quite promising. Complimentary fruits were served at the end.
