@kaboom.hk is a rooftop bar with stunning harbour view that doesn’t only serve amazing drinks, but also nice East Asian food. The environment is spacious and comfortable. Even though we were seated on the bar table, we could still overlook the harbour view. The bartenders were fun and experienced too. 🥂Tom Yum Coconut Scallop Carpaccio $128
It’s very creative to pair tom yum coconut sauce with this Hokkaido scallops. The freshness from the scallop enhanced nicely after adding a few drops of lime juice too.
🥂Thai Style Salmon Tartare $128
Paired with shrimp crackers, they went nicely together. Salmon was cut to dices so it was very easy to eat. The sauce could be stronger but it was still very refreshing.
🥂Thai Lobster Sauce Strozzapreti Pasta with Lobster Tail $268
The lobster tail was huge and it’s considerate of them to have cut the back of the lobster shell so it’s not too hard to take the meat out. The lobster sauce was rich and this type of pasta maintained al dente even our eating speed was slow.
🥂Grilled Prime Rib Eye Steak (10oz) $388
Asked for medium and it did come with a beautiful blushing pink. The steak was really tender with Thai chilli sauce on the side, making it more asian style. The seasonal vegetables were all very fresh. It was truly my favourite of the night.

Decorated in a cute bathtub with the signature B duck, the drink is so appealing but also delicious. Though vodka is added, it didn’t feel so strong as passion fruit, pineapple and ginger flavour were all balanced really well.
🥂Every Day Feels Like A Monday! $128
Gin and Prosecco were added but the yuzu juice and green apple flavour stood out so it tasted more like a juice instead. My friend had this but I liked it very much too.
Seeing the bartenders making the drinks in front of you is like watching a performance. Our bartender treated us a Philippine shot at the end to wrap up the night before typhoon comes. Thanks again!
