The mala soup base tasted exactly like 小肥羊 Little Sheep. Lots of garlic cloves, scallions, nutmeg and various herbs. For me it wasn't hot until the soup got concentrated and I added spinach that absorbed all the chili oil, then it started to taste a bit spicy lol.
塔拉上的快樂卷 was the leanest meat but tender.
千層肋腹 had more fat, tasted more gamey and softer than the happy roll.
草原大羊片 also had a balanced amount of fat. Strong lamb flavors as well but had some tendons in between so it was slightly more stringy.
In my opinion, there's no need to order the most expensive plate, that is very IG-friendly with the smoke effect but since the meat is thinly sliced, it's not significantly different than the cheaper plates.
Convenient location. Spacious area, high ceilings, broad view of the street. Service was just so so but there wasn't much need for that as we could order by scanning the QR code.
