When the lady at the counter first looked at me, I could tell from the first look that I was bothering her. She took my credit and gave it back after a second saying it didn't work. I tell her I will need to write the code and she must insert it in the machine, she looks at me with disdain again. The card didn't work again and, although the interaction had been 15 seconds long so far with no one waiting behind me, I could clearly see that not only was I wasting her time and that she disdained me

When the lady at the counter first looked at me, I could tell from the first look that I was bothering her. She took my credit and gave it back after a second saying it didn't work. I tell her I will need to write the code and she must insert it in the machine, she looks at me with disdain again. The card didn't work again and, although the interaction had been 15 seconds long so far with no one waiting behind me, I could clearly see that not only was I wasting her time and that she disdained me for having a card that doesn't work. The card eventually worked and all was solved within 30 seconds but this short interaction clearly showed I wasn't welcome here. Good then, I won't come again, the food was forgettable anyways.
