After doing some shopping at Dragon Centre, it was already dinner time and my family asked me to pack some food back home. Thus i went to the food court and see what food interested me. I saw 在蘭州 and was attracted by their handmade noodles. Like any typical stall at food court, we need to queue up to order our food. Like any typical stall at food court, we need to queue up to order our food. I generally liked to eat Lanzhou noodles as the noodles was hand-made and offered several types of noodles. Besides that, they provided drinks as well.
As our drinks at home was running low on supply and the weather was hot, I decided to buy several cans of soft drinks to replenish, such as coca cola, cream soda, sprite, pocari sweat and coffee. They were gassy and cooling, helping to quench our thirst.
Traditional beef noodles soup - I ordered clear soup with thin noodle. The texture of the noodle was like ramen, which was chewy. Soup was clear and rich in flavour, with strong beef broth. Beef was tender and juicy, cut into thin slices.
Minced meat with mushroom dry noodle - I chose wide noodle type, which was chewy and slightly thick in texture. Minced meat with mushroom was juicy and flavourful, going well with the noodles.
Beef noodle with sour vegetables soup - I chose the widest type of noodle. It was very chewy and filling. Sour vegetables helped to make the soup sour and flavourful, and the beef was tender and juicy too.
Spiced beef shank noodle soup - Soup was slightly spicy and flavourful, which was tasty. Noodle was chewy and slightly thick in texture too. Beef shank was tender and juicy too, absorbing the essence of the soup broth.
