The Praya has been on my list since it’s opening and we finally managed to try out this spot! This Neo-Chinese restaurant showcases contemporary takes on traditional Cantonese classics but incorporating Western and Asian culinary techniques 🥢 ✨ Here’s what we ordered:🐚 陳年花雕醉蜆 - $288 hkd— This is a MUST order when coming here! Some of the best drunken clams I’ve had and their aged Shaoxing wine was so aromatic. The clams soaked up all the goodness of the marinade perfectly and they were so juicy

🦐 芝麻蝦多士 - $188 hkd
— Great crunch and a really fragrant bite to start off with. The prawn mousse was well seasoned with a bouncy texture to it.
🐓 煙燻三黃雞煲仔菜飯 - $468 hkd
— A limited-time offer only so this is a must-try too! The “three-yellow” chicken was so tender and flavourful, whilst the vegetable rice base was so crispy and aromatic.
🐷 黑毛豬叉燒 - $208 hkd
— The cha siu was packed with flavour with an aromatic smoky barbecue flavour to it. Personally thought the sauce for this could’ve been a slightly thicker with a bit more honey to it, but overall so delicious!
🥬 薑汁啫啫芥蘭煲 - $148 hkd
— Great vegetable dish to go with! Flavours are rich but not overwhelming.
🍮 黑芝麻豆腐布甸 - $78 hkd
— Absolutely loved the flavours and variety of textures in this! Everything was so well balanced and the black sesame flavour was so prominent and perfectly balanced by the subtle flavours of the tofu. The sweet sesame crisp on top was so delicious and went so well with the creamy, smooth pudding.
