價錢當然係貴,但味道係得既,佢既包係好食,佢好細心介紹唔同olive oil,但英文唔太好既我其實唔算好了解,但覺得佢d包就咁食或配佢既醬都好正一個牛一個魚,個人覺得牛係必食,真係好正,魚係滑既同無腥味,但就無太特別前菜個個好似雲吞既野好食,脆卜卜,同個茄子就無特別,佢有杯唔知咩沙律汁就唔啱我口味,有d醋味既感覺貓耳粉就有口感d,配好似咸魚咁既味,就麻麻,意粉就唔錯,但唔特別甜品好好食,特別係朱古力好香滑,唔會太甜,蛋糕都唔錯慶祝生日會送上蠟燭小甜點

主菜藍龍蝦🦞新鮮爽口,泡沫醬汁用咗意大利南部阿馬爾菲出名既檸檬🍋,散發出芳香檸檬味,又突顯出藍龍蝦嘅鮮甜~️💯😙😋

個朱古力榛子撻都幾大份,覺得有啲膩。開心果gelato超級有驚喜好好味😍,好濃開心果又香滑~😋🥰

為同事慶祝MDRT,所以選一家Fine Dining講食物之前,要先告訴大家我的用餐喜好💡環境、裝修非常重要因為用餐時間不會少過兩小時太少太逼挾的話,坐久了會很壓抑辛苦✅Estro 的用色是大地色系走輕奢風而且空間感很夠,桌與桌之間距離很大就算不是獨立房間,隱私度很高💡Servicing 貼心,不打擾人手絕對不應該是高級餐廳的問題所以侍應主動看到客戶狀況很重要安排上菜時間和侍酒✅因為我們是兩個人去不論是上菜還是收盤,都是由兩個侍應同步進行的。看的出他們是有訓練,放下盤子,連轉身走的時間也差不多💡餐酒搭配有設好的話,我通常都會嘗試因為酒侍會基於他們店私餐單特意配酒雖然不會用到高級的fine wine但配搭得宜能夠帶出整體風味✅嘗試了很多年輕的意大利葡萄酒不是一些很大路的產區,酒待也有講解1️⃣開胃小食有三款+1小杯的海鹽青瓜汁最特別的是有拍到用梨去做的,非常爽脆和甜,上面還有一些食用花提升觀感2️⃣頭盤是北海道帶子刺身/ 野生蘑菇湯帶子刺身口感很好野生蘑菇湯非常香濃👍👍3️⃣麵包籃配上四款不同的橄欖油我對橄欖油沒有什麼認識,但侍應會非常用心介紹。我根據他的推薦揀選了一隻口味比較濃郁的。4️⃣挪威海螯蝦超

1️⃣開胃小食有三款+1小杯的海鹽青瓜汁
最特別的是有拍到用梨去做的,非常爽脆和甜,上面還有一些食用花提升觀感

2️⃣頭盤是北海道帶子刺身/ 野生蘑菇湯
帶子刺身口感很好
野生蘑菇湯非常香濃👍👍

3️⃣麵包籃配上四款不同的橄欖油
我對橄欖油沒有什麼認識,但侍應會非常用心介紹。我根據他的推薦揀選了一隻口味比較濃郁的。

4️⃣挪威海螯蝦超寬條面
極度推薦大家+380 點這個意面,超級美味
特別是Langoustine 非常新鮮,香港很少吃到。比一般的龍蝦味道更鮮甜和集中🤯🤯
加錢是值得的

5️⃣Beef Oyster Blade
Medium Rare 完美帶出牛肉的香味而且非常嫩,建議點這個配上比較年輕的bordeaux style 意大利酒,perfect pairing

6️⃣甜品-西班牙柿
將一個西班牙柿做成三款不同的食品,新鮮柿肉,柿雪芭和Jelly

整個體驗比一些米其林餐廳好,而且價錢比他們便宜。希望再訪的時候可以保持質素,價錢也是😂😂

麵包有四款,橄欖油亦有四款選擇,我就揀咗最濃味嗰枝同帶有蕃茄風味嗰枝🍅 但蕃茄風味嗰枝就唔太食到蕃茄味🧐 反而另外奉上嘅鯷魚牛油非常之正🧈 麵包方面當中最好食係taralli,形狀似小繩結🪢 口感似脆餅,香口酥脆,係未曾食過嘅脆度及酥化度,難以形容!我第二round都添咗兩粒taralli🙊

呢個擺盤都係有美感,濃濃秋意🍂 甜品師Fabio嘅外祖父就係有棵Persimmon tree, 以此聯繫👀 用柿作為甜品都幾特別,將柿切成花瓣般嘅薄片🌼 面頭有Persimmon sorbet,個底就有yogurt namelaka同 orange sponge! 柿同乳酪味道好夾😚

球狀tiramisu亦相當唔錯,冰凍外層一咬開內餡即爆開,酒香咖啡香奶香完美平衡🙌🏻 另一款甜點就冇乜特別,淨係記得好甜…😌

The entrance is a bit hidden once you got out of the elevator. Very spacious layout tables are very far from each other, good for those who want a lot of privacy.Very attentive staffs, offered different types of olive oil to go song with bread. Wine pairing is good and even though there was 6 glasses it didn’t feel like a whole lot.The appetizer ie red prawn with caviar was our favorite dish of the night. The appetizer ie red prawn with caviar was our favorite dish of the night.

Personally I am not into carbs so i find having two carb dishes a bit too much for me but they are both delicious. We prefer the buttoni to the long scialatielli.

I got the venison and my guest got the beef. Both are good. No surprises.

Oh and the Pistachio ice cream was very good, it’s Ike you got a mouthful of ice pistachios in your mouth.

So pretty good overall I would say.

Michelin Guide Restaurant

Was thoroughly impressed by Estro’s lunch so I quickly booked for their dinner.

The amuse bouche were very refreshing to start with. Their bread basket was very nice too with a variety of items. Olive oil selection was very impressive.

For appetizers, I enjoyed the marinated squid with almond, capers, fennel pollen and some hidden gem: caviar at the centre. But I really think it is worth adding on for their Red Prawn coral pannacotta, with lemon and caviar. It is such a well balanced dish that outshines the rest of the meal. The sweetness of the red prawn and the saltiness of the caviar was spot on.

Their Mussels "Gemmina" stuffed with aromatic bread, prawns and "aglio e olio". I have never tried a stuffed mussel before and it was quite a pleasant surprise. The mussel was cooked to perfection with a silky texture which was a huge contrast to the stuffings. An interesting dish.

Then came the three pasta dishes. I personally loved their chewy pasta whilst my friend finding it too chewy. Long Scialatielli with king crab and Amalfi lemon was refreshing. I loved their Fettucce with langoustine and basil scent. The great part of both pasta dishes was that you could still taste the sweetness of the crab and langoustine.

Their Buttoni was rich, maybe a bit too rich, especially the condensed sauce.

The sea bass was the biggest let down of the meal. It was even a bit undercooked.

For both the main courses, the lamp and the beef were both very well cooked. But nothing special about them.

As for dessert, I love their pistachio gelato which was a scope from heaven. So smooth and nutty. The little tiramisu bite was nice too.

Price: HK$3200 pp (dinner with add on)

Revisit: 10/10

Second visit to this Italian restaurant and Chef Antimo really did the magic again! Still my favourite Italian restaurant in HK so far. Tuck in the quiet street of Duddell’s Street, Estro provides innovative Italian cuisine with a twist.

The amuse bouche were very refreshing, from the water melon, the crunchy tomato bite and the cool shot.

Their bread basket was very nice too with a variety of items. Although their olive oil selection was very impressive, I was more into their house made butter!

For appetizers, the cured Amberjack was nice even though I don’t like capers. But I really think it is worth adding on for their Red Prawn coral pannacotta, with lemon and caviar. I have not had such a well balanced dish for a long time. The sweetness of the red prawn and the saltiness of the caviar was spot on. I personally prefer this over Amber’s Aka Uni. My favorite of the meal.

Their Min-ESTRO-nel egg and parsley custard, with
vegetables was like an art piece. Such clear broth and flavorful.

Their Semolina Risotto with saffron, baby cuttlefish, ink and a hint of lemon. It was very rich. The cuttlefish ink presentation was a bit daunting but flavor was all there. The risotto texture was spot on too.

I also loved their Tagliatelle with roasted tomato essence. I love the chewy texture of their tagliatelle.

For both the main courses, the blue spotted bream and the beef oyster blade were both very well executed and so yummy. I personally love the beef but if you want something lighter after the two carbs dishes, then probably you can go for the fish.

As for dessert, their "Zuppetta" Millefoglie was absolutely perfect. Probably one of my favorite desserts this year. So light yet with so much textures. The pistachio gelato was a scope from heaven. So smooth and nutty. The little puff and the Mochi were yummy too.

Seriously, I need to come back for dinner!

🌟 Symposium Wine Experience $1480 for 8 glasses | Great wine selection. Would go for the wine pairing again next time!

Overall an amazing experience and I’ve already recommended Estro to many of friends. Also a very nice destination for all sorts of celebrations and date night ✨ So glad to have visited before they gain their well-deserved Michelin star next year (do you feel my confidence?😂)

There have been some negative reviews for this restaurant, particularly the front of house, but based on the experience we had this evening I can’t really understand why. From the moment we stepped outside the lift to the moment we finished our meal, the front of house service was exceptional. We would place this restaurant alongside many of its peers such as Amber and other multi-star restaurants. They don’t have a star yet but it’s definitely going to happen. If you love fine food & wine, these guys know what they are doing. They have a real passion for what they do and they are willing to engage in long conversations about every aspect of the ingredients and the wine they serve. If only every restaurant in Hong Kong, charging these types of high-end prices, had the same passion for what they do. We could discuss the incredible caviar starter, the beautiful red prawn dish. the incredible interpretation of lamb and beef. But at the end of the day if you’re paying HK$6000 for a meal for two I think you know what you should be expecting and you do get it here. The friendly service that comes with it as well as the professionalism is worth every dollar.

A special mention for the sommelier, who really loves what he does, which might sound like a statement of the obvious but we all know that many in Hong Kong don’t really deliver what they should deliver. This guy is all over what he does.

A round of applause for the entire team. A lovely evening and a fantastic meal.
