📍EstroMichelin Guide Restaurant Was thoroughly impressed by Estro’s lunch so I quickly booked for their dinner. The amuse bouche were very refreshing to start with. Their bread basket was very nice too with a variety of items. Olive oil selection was very impressive. For appetizers, I enjoyed the marinated squid with almond, capers, fennel pollen and some hidden gem: caviar at the centre. Was thoroughly impressed by Estro’s lunch so I quickly booked for their dinner.

The amuse bouche were very refreshing to start with. Their bread basket was very nice too with a variety of items. Olive oil selection was very impressive.

For appetizers, I enjoyed the marinated squid with almond, capers, fennel pollen and some hidden gem: caviar at the centre. But I really think it is worth adding on for their Red Prawn coral pannacotta, with lemon and caviar. It is such a well balanced dish that outshines the rest of the meal. The sweetness of the red prawn and the saltiness of the caviar was spot on.

Their Mussels "Gemmina" stuffed with aromatic bread, prawns and "aglio e olio". I have never tried a stuffed mussel before and it was quite a pleasant surprise. The mussel was cooked to perfection with a silky texture which was a huge contrast to the stuffings. An interesting dish.

Then came the three pasta dishes. I personally loved their chewy pasta whilst my friend finding it too chewy. Long Scialatielli with king crab and Amalfi lemon was refreshing. I loved their Fettucce with langoustine and basil scent. The great part of both pasta dishes was that you could still taste the sweetness of the crab and langoustine.

Their Buttoni was rich, maybe a bit too rich, especially the condensed sauce.

The sea bass was the biggest let down of the meal. It was even a bit undercooked.

For both the main courses, the lamp and the beef were both very well cooked. But nothing special about them.

As for dessert, I love their pistachio gelato which was a scope from heaven. So smooth and nutty. The little tiramisu bite was nice too.

Price: HK$3200 pp (dinner with add on)
