Good food and service. The appetizers are a little bit mediocre. The tomato bread could add some herbs or seasonings. My friend think the steak tartare is a lil bit tough; I think it's ok, but we both agreed the sourness can tune down a little. The ajillo prawns need more garlic, ajillo will soulless without enough garlics.But the two paellas are great, my friend love the foie gras one and I love the pork and squid one. Almost missed the desert as we decide to eat elsewhere for chinese sweet sou

Recently visited BÀRBAR, the latest opening by the same dining group behind Pica Pica which situates in Ship Street where known for international delicacies. Every mouthful of the rice was very aromatic thanks to the grease from the pigeon and foie gras. It was appropriately seasoned and not soggy. It might be a hit or miss though, due to the gamey flavour. Still, I highly recommend.

3). Pigeon Rice And Foie Gras paella($220) (20 mins) My friends loved this dish, but it’s a give or take for me personally because it tasted a bit gamy.

4). Charred deboned beef rib, roasted
pumkin purée, mojo rojo and mojo verde
($288) very delicious, tender and flavorful

5). Galician octopus on potato ($138)

6). Truffle Manchego cheese, quince paste ($85)This was okay, I can taste the truffle

7). Spanish 14 Suckling pig, potato foam,
jus, greens( $480) - we were still very hungry. They made this well, crispy and tasty.

9). Last but not least their homemade cheesecake ( $78) it’s limited offer so get it. It’s tasty light and not too sweet.

這邊用上了鴿子和鵝肝
每一口都香氣四溢 鵝肝入口即溶
而且鵝肝的份量一點都不少🤤
整體來說真的很推薦這家西班牙菜
配上sangria 和閨蜜對象過來chill一個晚上真的很ok❤️

What we ordered:

I genuinely love everything we opted, the steak tartare added the oyster which I liked a lot, can taste the umami from the oyster, so different from other steak tartare. The suckling pig was so delicious, crispy outside and tender inside. The pigeon rice is so fragrant, must order. The beef rib was so soft, love the pumpkin purée.
The Spanish tortilla recommended by our server was so good! Super fluffy, the best I have tried so far.
Love love the Torrija from dessert! If u are a french toast lover, u should love this one too.
Actually everything was on point, except the octopus was not too special, other than that, I liked everything.

We were served by Ayame, she’s so friendly and attentive, appreciated with her hearty service.

Overall, I really had a great dining experience with Barbar, food was great, ambiance was nice, great service, and reasonable price, I would totally revisit and recommend to my fds.

Great Spanish restaurant!All dishes were delectable, the pigeon and foie gras paella was impressive and it is the best paella I have ever had in Hong Kong!The Torija was another highlight! perfect texture and not oily at all.Highly recommended!

New tapas bar with excellent service 👍🏻 But food is average .Must try blackink pealla 😻But I will go for fish next time!!!And they offer free sherry shot after dinner!!Really like the atmosphere there!!!

菜單上Paella 共有三款, 都有大小potion可選擇。這個價錢實在十分affordable, 真係唔叫唔得,而且個paella收汁收得好好,成個飯甘香濃郁,乳鴿又無overcooked仲好嫩。

Great atmosphere and food. This soft opening restaurant locate on ship street, near an popular Spanish restaurant. It’s definitely a new hidden gem. The most surprising dish I had was the potato salad and pigeon rice with foie gras. The potato salad with a bit savory crab meat / roe taste. That’s reli surprised me with simple presentation. Anchovies with tomato & olive oil is also great. A bit soury with fresh tomato and Oliver oil… Yum!Forgot to take pictures for all food…. Wine range is reason
