this sleek modern Japanese izakaya boasts a stunning rooftop bar in the heart of Central and serves up one-of-a-kind fusion dishes - exquisite Japanese precision with bold European flavours you won't find anywhere else in Hong Kong. And don’t just take it from us, they’ve been crowned the Spring 2025 Winner and a Summer 2025 Top 100 pick in the HK Restaurant Weeknamed after the Japanese phrase for 'lush green', stepping inside is like entering a posh gemstone-studded sanctuary - the perfect setting to impress a date or celebrate something special. Our meal kicked off with unique complimentary appetizers – garlic in chili bean sauce and pickled bamboo shoots𝗛𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶 𝗖𝗿𝘂𝗱𝗼 𝟮.𝟬 𝗛𝗞𝗗𝟭𝟰𝟴Instead of citrus, they went for a bold savoury umeboshi white miso that totally elevated the delicate fish. Fresh chives and baby radish added a nice textural crunch 👍 𝗣𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗱 𝗛𝗞𝗗𝟳𝟴What looked like creamy burrata was actually a tangy tomato consommé cream that delivered a surprisingly pickled sourness and a tingling, almost 'popping candy'-like sensation𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗸𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗞𝗗𝟴𝟴The cinnamon aroma was intoxicating, and that sweet, crispy caramelized top was pure heaven. Crunchy almonds provided the perfect counterpoint to the soft pumpkin𝗧𝗼𝗻𝗸𝗮𝘁𝘀𝘂 𝗛𝗞𝗗𝟮𝟯𝟴The crispy lean Iberico pork collar was elevated by a vibrant tangy plum yoghurt sauce that cut through the richness wonderfully, making every bite an absolute dream 🤤𝗛𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗿𝗮𝗯 𝗕𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗨𝗱𝗼𝗻 𝗛𝗞𝗗𝟮𝟳𝟴The bouncy chewy noodles were coated in a rich buttery sauce.
