等左好耐先有機會打得成依間貴花旁~ 上枱時一"pet"野, 比其他火煱店厚---- 食落好新鮮...未試過係其他地方咁好味, 真係有鮮味蝦丸~ 又鮮又爽! 正!筒蠔~ 都好鮮, 可惜得3大隻鵝肝蝦丸~ 原來要連入面d鵝油一齊食先好, 之前怕太熱, 篤穿咗, 不過我唔鐘意d蝦用太多胡椒粉醃魚咀, 牛粒~ ok, 都係牛肉, AND 魚囉都好味不過唔係卡位...用個WOK仔& 明火...唔係幾好睇

朋友訂枱七點正, 朋友準時到, 等左一陣就有. 服務態度其實唔錯, 一舉手就即刻有人埋黎. 裝修光猛但逼夾, 兩部只有影像沒有聲浪的大電視照顧全場, 追劇的追劇, 傾計的傾計. "混醬枱"上居然提供白醋, 醒神! 蕃茄坑腩湯底好濃茄味, 酸酸甜甜好開胃, 坑腩炆得好林, 六條友搶住夾, 唔夠分. 特式食物有肥牛同牛脊, 脂肪均勻有牛味. 海參, 墨魚滑爽口. 今次無叫菜, 因為相比下略貴. 埋單每人$300, 個人感覺貴左少少, 但銅鑼灣區, 無計.

I made the booking at noon for 8 people at for the night and confirm it's okay.Their "Manager" call back 2 hours before the booking and mention that it's totally full and need to push back our booking for 1 hour..Okay... not making any sense but fine as I already ask all my bros to be in CWB.20 mins later, they call back again and said there is table but we need to finish within 1 hour. of course there is no way we can do it, so just ask them to give us the table at 8:30pm as they mentioned befo

20 mins later, they call back again and said there is table but we need to finish within 1 hour. of course there is no way we can do it, so just ask them to give us the table at 8:30pm as they mentioned before.

When we walk in at 8:25pm to the second shop (1/F), they said there is no booking made.... what!!! So I show him my call history from cell phone and they said the call is made from the Ground floor, okay, he confirm that table will be ready in 15 mins, and we just need to walk over.

After arrive 8:35 to the G/F one, manager ask us to wait for another half hour until table paid their bill and need to give us 2 tables instead.....

WAIT WAIT WAIT..... until 9:00 nothing happen and forget it!!!!

What is the point of making booking.....

As it resides in Causeway Bay and close to my home, I went there a few times before. Not bad but cannot say really good.But yesterday's experience will certainly stop me going there anymore. First of all, I booked a table for 3 people two days earlier and I still have to wait half and hour.A waiter came and said most of the beef are not available. I therefore asked a manager (wear glasses) and he told us the beef market is very tight and we should not be surprised that no beef is available.Co

Come on baby, this is a hotpot shop and u expect customers to be OK without beef. We decided to leave and of course the manager didn't care at all.

It was his attitude that made us feel uncomfortable.

I now certainly believe the report posted on 12/31 that they took out the pot and forced customers to go.

I am not in any way related to this restaurant. Since this customer wrote such a long story to tell us what has happened during their dinner, it has given me some room to think about it. First and obviously enoguh, your "education" has not made you a better person. Judging from the one-sided story provided by your goodself, I could not agree that you were as helpful as you have rated yourself. I am not in any way related to this restaurant. Since this customer wrote such a long story to tell us what has happened during their dinner, it has given me some room to think about it.

First and obviously enoguh, your "education" has not made you a better person. Judging from the one-sided story provided by your goodself, I could not agree that you were as helpful as you have rated yourself. Indeed, you and your friend have pompously showed off your EQ and IQ throughout the whole dinner without standing in other shoes. Imagine you were in the line standing outside the restaurant, won't you hope to be told when to have the table?

If until now you still cannot understand how a restaurant owner could have done something like that to his customers, you must have failed to realise how selfish you were.

"Cusotmers are always right" is just a facade. Underneath we can still see a lot of ugliness of some customers.

Went to Him Kee on Dec 19th with 3 other friends-a carefully chosen date after working out statistics of dates bearing bad comments on Openrice.com.The waiters there were barely friendly but at least we've been so much well treated than the Piss Off Two who laid their comments previously both in Chinese and English. Although I didnt hv the same experience, it's not hard to believe their comments are true after experiencing the cold manners of the 2 waiters on that night (one with specs and the other none). The attitudes of the waitresses were better.

Food, must admit it's really nice. Fresh "elephant nose" clams, oysters, fish cutlets, vegies, dumplings etc etc. We continued to order more than we could finish in order to avoid being kicked out - the image of the Piss Off Two still haunting us.

It's pricy but going there once in a while (do it half yearly ok? Unless it's on the company's account with a bottomless budget) is quite worth the excitement.

上星期三,一行十三人在謙記定了一間VIP房,最低消費要2500為朋友做生日聚餐。以前到過謙記但不是坐VIP房,今次覺得房間很好坐十三人非常適合,牛肉,象拔蚌是必Order的,今次因人多再叫了一隻約二斤半的紅瓜子班,打邊爐是第一次叫魚切片食,很好味。再問經理有什麽介紹,他說可以一試手切和牛每碟130元,但說明和牛的牛肉味不及新鮮牛肉不過十分之滑及淋,就order了一碟,果然只滑及淋但牛肉味欠奉,不過全枱女士十分喜歡就只好再order兩碟。其他食品都是水準之作,值得一講就是水晶皮的奶皇飽及义燒飽真是與別不同。最有趣甜品送上是壽飽可能是定枱時走了口風,再自带四枝紅酒不收開瓶費,最對不起是因太高與而打爛了五只紅酒杯。結帳是2800元再添200元小費

We have never had such TERRIBLE dining experience in my entire life!!!!!!!!!!(Sorry that the comment is going to be very long. If you don’t have time to read, in short, my friend and I were commented by the OWNER of the restaurant that we ate too slow and therefore he TOOK AWAY OUR HOTPOT and food WITHOUT OUR CONSENT whilst we had paid for the food and that we still wanted the food!!!)We (2 gals) have ordered Tomato and Beef soup base and Beef, Scallop, Assorted Meatballs, Vegetables, Barbecue P

If you don’t have time to read, in short, my friend and I were commented by the OWNER of the restaurant that we ate too slow and therefore he TOOK AWAY OUR HOTPOT and food WITHOUT OUR CONSENT whilst we had paid for the food and that we still wanted the food!!!)

We (2 gals) have ordered Tomato and Beef soup base and Beef, Scallop, Assorted Meatballs, Vegetables, Barbecue Pork Dumplings and Custard Dumplings. We’ve no doubt that the quality of the food was fine.

HOWEVER, we experienced the “WORST of the WORST”service in town!!!!! We booked a table and sat down at 7:00pm on Friday nite. We’d never been told that we need to return the table by a certain time. At 8:30pm a waiter came to us and said they had 2 customers coming for the table at 9:00pm and asked if we could finish by then. At that time we still have almost 1/3 of our food not finished. We politely said we hadn’t finished but would try to finish asap to help them. Within the half an hour from 8:30 to 9:00pm, we were DISTURBED by the same waiter THOUSAND TIMES –we were asked if we still want the beef and other food (while obviously we were still picking up the food into the hotpot); we were being served the complimentary dessert while we were still eating the ‘main courses’; we were requested to pay the bill first…..etc. My friend and I have super high EQ and we agreed to pay the bill first but we did plan to finish the food despite the series of impolite disturbance.

At 9:00pm the waiter came and said their customers had been waiting for so long. I told him we had not yet finished and we had never been told that we need to return the table by 9:00pm before. That is not our problem and as soon as we finish we would leave. Then the BOSS of the restaurant came and forced us to give him a time that we would leave. We explained that it’s not reasonable for us to guarantee a time to leave and that he’s the boss he should manage his table arrangement by himself. Unbelievably, he shouted to us, “You two ordered 6 dishes in 2 hours. I’m not persuaded that you two are trying hard enough to help”. First of all, this is not ‘All-You-Can-Eat’buffet hotpot dinner that usually comes with a time limit. The fact that we MAY eat slower than usual people has nothing related to him. While we were still trying to discuss and seek for a reasonable result, this impolite BOSS totally refused to hear us and said “I don’t want to do your business. I will void the bill that you just paid and you two please go!!”and in the same second, he just TOOK AWAY our HOTPOT without our consent!!! WE WERE TOTALLY MAD. We complained that they can’t just take away our food and that we didn’t need to have our bill void!! The BOSS just ignored us and ran away. When he came back he had the void bill on the table. The waiter immediately came and cleared the rest of the table. We WERE 1000000% PISSED OFF and could not believe that the BOSS of a restaurant could do such thing!!

As we are EDUCATED people and not the type of person to shout or scream in public, so we decided to go and we would make complaints to official authorities. When we left we went in front of the BOSS and said to take away the customers’food is totally unacceptable & non-sense. He said, “I already expect you two would not come back again. Feel free to write comments on internet. You two are no longer our customers and we will never serve you again!!!”

Until now, we still can’t believe he is the BOSS of the restaurant (but we found that to be true at the end). It’s obvious that we have nobody else to complain and that the OWNER of the restaurant is not worry at all that this incident will affect his business. Therefore we would tell all our friends, write on internet, to newspapers and magazines!!!!

All our friends who have heard this story in the last few days have already agreed NOT to try / go to that restaurant again!!!!!!!!

跟住個老闆就将張取消咗既信用卡單放係枱上, 個男侍應就即清埋我地張枱上我既食物. 我地深深不憤, 堅持坐咗大概20分鐘, 希望佢地比個交待我地, 但係佢地完全冇呢個打算. 當我地離開個陣, 對著個老闆講, ‘你咁樣完全唔係做生意’, 個老闆好晦氣咁講: ‘我預咗你地唔會返黎, 預咗你地會上網寫,你地已經唔係我地既客人, 你地走啦, 我地亦唔會再招呼你地!’

成件事上, 佢地一D歉意都冇, 個老闆恃住係唔憂冇生意做, 落手落腳趕客, 好荒謬囉!!! 黑面侍應見得多, 咁樣倒自己米既老闆我地都係第一次見!!!! 因為當時人已經係餐廳老闆, 我地已經投訴到某某機構!!!! 所有我地既朋友已經決定唔會去/再去謙記!!!!!!!

之前有朋友推介此店,今次適逢W君提議,於是約埋兩大牛魔王,合共四人打算大吃一餐.四川麻辣拼蕃茄魚頭湯底: 麻辣OK,蕃茄魚頭十分出色,完全唔腥,重蕃茄味.-牛頸脊x2: 腍及鮮,OK.但朋友覺一般,不夠滑.當然我亦同意不及英記.-美國肥牛: OK.但我不喜歡用美國肥牛打邊爐,感覺太靚,哈哈.-墨魚滑: 唔得.唔夠彈牙兼欠鮮味有怪味.-桂花蚌: 鮮而肥美.-美國(4隻): 鮮而肥美.-象拔蚌(條): 鮮甜.-皇帝菜: 份量少而不夠新鮮,有少許乾枯.-白蘿蔔-黑葉: 一般.-炸腐竹-粟米+ Asahix4招呼不錯,地方乾淨.送精美甜品.大致上不過不失,但由於牛肉質素一般,所以四大牛魔王未能太盡情撕殺.

黎呢道食火鍋, 主要想試三樣嘢 –象拔蚌(條上), 肥鵝腸同牛頸脊. 可惜無牛頸脊, 叫左本地手切牛肉, 另加手打墨魚丸同魚翅餃. 湯底就叫左冬瓜海鮮粒. 先講湯底, 認真普通, 主要成份係味精. 象拔蚌總算新鮮, 成三百蚊一碟, 新鲜係理所當然. 鵝腸係有肥糕, 但並唔新鮮(有發過), 而且份量很少. 牛肉質地比較'鞋', 亦不夠牛味(食剩半碟). 墨魚丸相當麻麻, 係夠彈牙, 但完全無味. 魚翅餃最差, 賣相似小籠包, 層皮厚到死, 味道亦唔好. 呢個價錢, 咁家質素, 好難再幫襯!我亦同意其他食家所講, 侍應態度有代改善. 感覺上想你快快食完就走. 唔明點解食剩半碟牛肉都問你個湯底要唔要, 我話唔要就馬上收走, 轉頭先再問你要唔要碟牛肉, 湯底都收左, 唔通食生牛肉. 我仲以為佢見唔到我碟牛肉, 既然知道仲有半碟牛肉都收左個湯, 咁仲唔係趕客? 咁岩我真係唔想要碟牛肉因為唔好味, 如果唔係次序上係咪有D問題或者唔咪好合理?

亳冇疑問啲火煱料的確好新鮮,但可惜湯底唔夠鮮甜or野味,調味醬的選擇更加係大家屋企都會有齊的調味料,冇乜特別。waiter & waitress係有啲唔休做嘅態度,即係嗰隻你見到就想同佢講"今時今日咁嘅服務態度..."

細妹提早請我食生日飯,1行3女1男上星期六去打邊爐,佢最鍾意黎喱度食,叫左:-蕃茄魚頭湯底($68)-象拔蚌條($298)(細妹致愛)-豬肺,餃類,鱔片,蓮耦,等等,湯底好味,食物新鮮,調味一大盤任客人自行調配,如生熟蒜,辣椒絲,薑絲,莞茜,沙爹,麻醬,醋,麻油!但飲品貴左0的,$70,1 jar蔗汁,太貴喇!好飽,好happy,多謝妳!
