Pic 1️⃣: 黃菊酸菜桂花魚 🐟
— Had to try out their signature sauerkraut fish and this did not disappoint! The fish slices were smooth and tender, and the broth was rich as well though leaning towards the sweeter side. I loved the potato noodles which soaked up all the goodness of the broth and were super chewy too!
Pic 2️⃣: 椒汁鮑魚 🐚
— Another signature must-try. This dish was insanely appetising and addicting. The abalone slices were thinly sliced for maximum flavour absorption. The sichuan pepper sauce was so flavourful with the perfect numbing sensation too.
Pic 3️⃣: 椒汁海蜇頭
— Flavours were similar to the abalone, but the jellyfish had a crunchier texture. Really recommend these two appetisers to kickstart your appetite!
Pic 4️⃣: 宮保蝦球 🦐
— The shrimp tasted fresh and had a bouncy texture. The kung pao sauce was fragrant, and had a mild spicy kick to it.
Pic 5️⃣: 銀絲酸辣羹 🥣
— This really had a good kick to it and the flavours were well balanced. The chili oil on top gave it a nice smoky aroma too.
Pic 6️⃣: 海皇豆腐羹
— Loved this! The consistency of this was perfect, not too thick nor watery. The flavours were rich, and tasted strongly of seafood.
Pic 7️⃣: XO醬海皇炒絲苗 🍚
— Really flavourful rice dish, with a strong seafood flavour to it. The XO sauce really elevated the rice and added a nice conpoy flavour too.
Pic 8️⃣: 頭抽豉油皇炒麵
— Noodles were stir-fried to a nice dry finish and really soaked up all the flavours of the dark soy sauce. The dish was aromatic, with the flavours coming mainly from the spring onions and chives.
Pic 9️⃣: 蛋白杏仁茶
— Smooth consistency and perfect level of sweetness. However, I thought the almond taste could’ve been stronger. There also wasn’t enough egg white in this.
Pic 🔟: 清心丸綠豆爽
— First time trying this! Slightly on the sweet end but the mung bean aroma was pretty strong. The 清心丸 were nice and chewy too!
