Not particularly keen when my husband proposed to try this restaurant tonight. Chesa has always been one of my favourite. The price here is just half of what you would spend at Chesa. I thought the cuisine here must have been much localised. We (plus my mother) arrived at 6:40pm and managed to get a table without reservation. The house was full by 8pm. Ordered beef carpaccio and a salad with the seasonal white asparaus as starters - big portions, no fancy stuff, the white asparaus 爽口quite 甜美; the carpaccio was fresh but 不算特別突出. Soup made with fog legs and scallops - nicely done . My husband was all excited to see the interesting drink menu and a variety of 野味 dishes as - rabbit, crocodile, deer... We had pork loin, crocodile and a cheese fudo as our main dishes. Both pork loin and crocodile were fried, surprisingly tender and 入味 . The cheese fudo is ok as what one would expect. The coffee came with petite four.
The service was good too. I walked in with prejudice but left with satisfaction.
