I was impressed by the interior design and decoration which looks classical and mysterious. We ordered a salad, a cold mezze, a main dish and two drinks. I was impressed by the interior design and decoration which looks classical and mysterious. We ordered a salad, a cold mezze, a main dish and two drinks. The quantity was quite enough so I felt full. 😀

👉 Mixed Salad ($90) which is mix vegetables salad with French dressing. I didn't expect that the size was quite big. The salad is very fresh and abundant.
👉 Mezze is a selection of small dishes served as appetizers in parts of the Middle East. We ordered a cool mezze served with sautéed vegetables and herbs sauce. It was Hummus Beiruti ($98) which is chickpeas puree with pickles and olive oil. The puree was very special and delicious.
👉 The main dish we ordered was Chicken Ala Tork ($178). It is half a chicken stuffed with rice and nuts. The rice was quite similar to the Chinese polished glutinous rice. LOL.
👉 The signature cocktails was $95 in Happy Hour. I ordered Shahrazad which is as same as the restaurant name. It combines with Dark Rum, Coconut Rum, Kehlua Coffee Liqueur, Pineapple Cordial, Citrus. I wasn't sure what the face on the bottle is but it really looks cool. My friend ordered One Thousand One Nights which includes Sparkling Wine, Lychee Liqueur, Rose Syrup, Citrus, Fresh lychee, Seared Rosemary.

The only one I have to nitpick was that a waitress's attitude wasn't so good and she restricted us to sit with a small table even though there were lots of other better table vacancies. 😡
Last but not least, you must go to the toilet because the interior design is also impressing. It really shows gorgeous and the charm of Middle Eastern style. Overall, this was a very nice and memorable dining experience.

It was a coincidence for me to come across this hidden middle east gem 💎in the neighborhood of LKF🍻The name of shahrazad is based on a major female character in the Middle Eastern collection of tales known as the One thousand and One nights. The restaurant was filled with middle east vibe and the decoration looked decent🥰Tbh I have never tried Lebanese cuisine before as Lebanese restaurant is rare in Hong Kong, so I didn’t know what to expect, but it turned out pretty satisfying❤. 《Lamb Shank》 $

Tbh I have never tried Lebanese cuisine before as Lebanese restaurant is rare in Hong Kong, so I didn’t know what to expect, but it turned out pretty satisfying❤.

《Lamb Shank》 $198
The portion was very large, the lamb shank 🍗was tender and juicy. The mashed potatoes 🥔 was very creamy and the herb sauce toned down the gaminess, which made the lamb on point!

Cheese Sambusek

It served as starter, the dumplings 🥟 were filled with mixed cheese and mint. The filling was creamy and rich, and the taste of buffalo cheese 🧀 was very strong.

Chicken Shish Tawood

The grilled chicken cubes were very tender and juicy. It came with yogurt dressing and they were prefect together😋

It served with herb sauce and the rice 🍚mixed with walnuts and raisins. It was interesting cause it tasted like one of the chinese banquet dishes, i.e. chicken stuffed with sticky rice (炸子雞+糯米飯)😂

We had a mezze (which basically means appetisers in Lebanese) platter and two mains. Started with a small appetiser with cheese dip.

<Mix Cold Mezze Platter> ($185)
A platter with four different cold dishes. We had about 8 pieces of cheesy naan between us to go with the 4 cold plates: Labneh, the minty yogurt. Hummus, the smooth chickpea purée mixed with sesame sauce, with corn on top. Muhammara, the spicy and sour paste made from roasted red pepper with bread crumbs and walnut on top. Lastly my favourite, Moutabal, the smoked eggplant paste with sesame and olive oil.

Mix Cold Mezze Platter

This chef special definitely came with a wow. The half chicken looked like a whole chicken after being stuffed with rice and nuts.

The chicken meat was nice and tender and the rice was buttery that simulated a risotto but with the rice cooked more thoroughly.

<Veal Tajine> ($180)
Tajine is a dish that is named after the pot. In the pot it serves curry and every Tajine comes with Jasmine rice. First time having veal (which I had to quickly look it up on my phone) and it means calves of young cows.

The texture is like the pork we get in Chinese soups but of course more juicy and the flavour was enhanced by the curry sauce. The sauce is meaty and quite mild on the flavours, which makes a difference from South Asian ones.

At first sight we thought we got dried scallop in our rice but after looking more closely the yellow bits were actually vermicelli! This rice was a totally different story from that one that was stuffed in the chicken. This rice is more chewy in a good way and more aromatic.

Prices were not cheap but the food and the decor were totally worth it.
