先來一杯 Signature Cocktail “Harmony”,色澤是亮麗的黃色,香醇的“季の美 KINOBI KYOTO DRY GIN”,配搭了以日本柚子釀製的“請福泡盛柚子酒”帶來馥郁的果香,又有Mancino Bianco、西柚汁以及金桔汁加持,甜酸中洋溢著馥郁果香與酒香,在炎熱的下午,令人有很舒鬱的感覺。

随後的菜色,驟眼一望,起初還以為係 Beetroot,感覺特別,但用刀一按,便覺軟熟有彈性,原來是用紅酒泡浸過的toothfish,配上新鮮豌豆及紅酒汁,紅綠夾雜,色彩絢麗,散發自然的香氣,甜美可口,美妙的組合。

第三杯是《Highland Park 2004, 13 Years Old, G&M》,酒精濃度突然抽至58.8度,一下子有點措手不及,但加水後,慢慢品嚐到Smooky及礦物味,亦帶有雲呢拿及蜜糖的甜香,用來配上味道濃郁的牛肉是最好不過。

主菜當然少不了Beef short rib,就連配菜的crispy potato 都同樣出色。

其實擺盤是非常簡潔,主角竟然放在靠邊,而cherry sauce 卻是佔據“C”位,Short Rib 質素是期待中的出色,有嚼口而富肉味,side dishes 的薯仔外層帶微脆的口感,看似不顯眼,卻又是另一亮點。

再來的一道和牛面頰 Wagyu beef cheek,煮得軟稔入味,牛味濃郁,配上新鮮的朝鮮薊以及青蘋果絲,用清新爽酸的味道來加以平衡,在色彩的配搭或口感上都看得出的細緻。

在5杯威士忌中,《Cameronbridge 1997, 21 Years Old, G&M》濃度達59.3%,可說今晚最具霸氣的一杯,粗獷的本色,由咽喉直擊胃部,來得激情,徘徊在舌尖上火燙的感覺,不妨下兩三滴原水,減輕一下濃度。

Pyrenees lamb shoulder 是一道看似簡單得來又有點破格的菜色。

從外觀欣賞,還以為是燒鵝肶,實則是羊肩,輕輕灑上青檸皮及檸檬皮,無論在色澤或是味道上,都是增色不少,至於羊肉是出奇地軟稔,輕盈的羶味,配搭爽嫩的奶油生菜,又是一道令人回味的菜色。

激情過後,回到《Linkwood 25 Years Old, G&M》,輕輕的43%,但色澤較深,帶燒灼、榛子及黑朱古力的味道,有點見過大場面,回歸平淡,細味人生的氛圍,與味道濃郁的羊肉,有著和諧的感覺。

是晚精彩的菜色猶如浪接浪,一道改良版的Poached yellow chicken en 'Vessie', black truffle, maderia sauce,原先的版本是加入了鵝肝,夠邪惡了吧?整隻黃油雞沾滿了甜美可口的 Madeira Sauce,而肉質依然保留柔嫩的口感,配以爽脆的甘筍及蘆筍,只能說句完美。

甜品是以熱情果為主的 Pistachio choux,草綠色的外層很有田園氛圍,灑上果仁碎,令口感更佳,伴碟的 Raspberry Sorbet,紅綠對襯,少許果微,都是起了微妙的化學作用。

至於另一款甜品,置底是栗子蛋糕,中間是綿滑的 Mascarpone cheese ,上面是咖啡雪糕,而四邊是杏仁脆片,吃起來質感與我最愛的 tiramisu 非常相似,基本上是秒殺了。

The atmosphere is very nice especially the patio. The drinks were nice and quite nice decor.As for dinning it was very medicore and for that price it was not worth it. We ordered the chicken and it was undercooked. Had to go to the hospital due to diarrhea for 3 days after it. The appetizers were very average or even below. The beef tartare was mixed with mayo sauce, which you cant even taste the beef at all. The tuna was really freshed but kind of wasted in that dish. The wagyu beef was good bu

Like most French “fine” dining (here is fine-casual), the restaurant menus don’t say much besides listing out the ingredients of the dishes, so hopefully, you’ll like what you get OR you could test the servers’ patience and ask lots of questions.Everything sounds good on the cocktail menu here (even the mocktails). Everything sounds good on the cocktail menu here (even the mocktails). They recommended the Harmony which was a yuzu grapefruit calamansi Ki No Bi gin mix. Loved the chilled citrus taste AND the ice had a nice touch - embossed with the bar’s name “Wood Ear”. Definitely would come back and spend some quality time with each and every one of the drinks.


Ami (restaurant): I especially like the homemade pasta with winter truffle and crustacean sauce. The pasta was promisingly alllll dente and they were generous on the truffle. The use of basil (correct me if I was wrong) was a good move to uplift the sauce with a punchy bitter-sweet herb.


The Challans duck breast might look lean but the flesh was tenderrr like beef tenderloin. Rich red meat flavor but not gamey. It had very little fat under the crispy skin so I didn’t have to pick on it. Thick-cut. Smokey. Yummy. Served with aubergine julienne, crunchy dried seaweed and chanterelle mushroom to meet the daily dietary fiber requirement.


The other 2 dishes were Chutoro sashimi with smoked eel and wine vinaigrette, and Rum Baba with yogurt and toasted coconut flakes.


Wood Ear (bar): specializes in whisky. They had 400 labels! Lots of collectables and aged whisky (there was a 60 years on display).

We went Ami for happy hour after work. It is a brand new bar restaurant located in Central. There are inside and outside sessions. Outside view is quite nice. Don’t worry if you don’t like the bitter taste of gin. The fresh taste of grapefruit balanced the bitter. It’s a nice choice for people who is looking for sweet, fresh drink.
Go for it!

As for the purple one below. It looks so beautiful but bland… Not recommend

首先講吓少少感想喜歡食嘢嘅朋友們我相信呢間餐廳俾唔到什麼驚喜如果鍾意飲酒同埋喜歡裝修邊間舖頭應該啱晒你地呢度有啲特色嘅cocktail 做得真係唔錯值得一試加上個地點同埋裝修係一個鬧市裏面有一個咁特色嘅地方實在係幾難得服務員嘅態度完99分以上至於食物方面呢,真係爭啲。配唔起呢個餐廳的裝修。先講個麵包,質感爭些少。麵包醬是可以的叫左兩個頭盤一個係魚另外一個係湯魚我覺得唔好食,同埋有少少唔新鮮個湯就做得幾好主菜係牛同埋意粉兩個都冇乜特別,未去到好食但係唔難食甜品就標準配套我覺得酒吧先至係呢間地方嘅特色我感受到餐牌係有努力用心去配搭嘅但係出嚟的效果表現唔出佢嘅精粹

坐下環境不錯,先來魚生頭盤用生果伴帶酸又帶甜,個人口味,不敢批評。開兩支紅酒,每人放2紅酒杯,叫佢先拿走一隻都唔得。收750開瓶費加一,除了有一次要去搵返自己支酒來加,其他時間都要酒杯空了幾分鐘。甜品碟空了幾分中也冇人問飲咖啡抹茶。唯有速速埋單去第度飲。此店可跟查餐廳比美。

It takes sometimes for us to find the restaurant, the entrance is a bit mystery🤣 Woww,, once stepped into Ami, I was impressed by the design of the wood ear bar, it looks really nice!


We ordered 𝟮 𝗴𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗼𝗰𝗸𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀 🍸 once seated, both priced at 𝗛𝗸$𝟭𝟰𝟴. During the time, their managers and waiters keep coming to us and ask if we need to place an order for drinks.. actually we did ordered🥲


Waited for over 15 minutes… and quite disappointed honestly 🥲 My “Fascination” was really really sweet… Ok! Let’s order food🤣🤣🤣

- The portion was much bigger than I thought☺️ Fatty Chutoro 🐟 is always the BEST (冇得輸❗️) Surprisingly this combination was really good, they matched perfectly with each other!A very refreshing one ☝🏼☺️

- DEFINITELY MY FAVOURITE DISH OF THE NIGHT‼️I was really impressed!!!!! Can you see how juicy and tender they were? This was the best duck breast I have ever had🤩🤩🤩 But suggested to invite more people to enjoy due to the huge portion😛😛

- We were already too full to have this side dish🤣 It tasted good but not surprising😛


We ordered a bottle of red wine🍷 as well but a bit disappointing and the price was extremely high, similar to those Michelin restaurants in town.


Overall, I love their food very much🤩🤩 I would love to come again for their 𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗲🥩 and 𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗸 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 🦆❗️If you wish to enjoy their a la carte menu, remember to reserve their tables at the Lounge‼️❤️

Retired to the balcony for coffee after the meal. Perfect weather.
Our friendly server really did make an effort to provide good service but seemed there just weren’t enough of them. Something the management needs to work on.
In summary: reasonably priced set for central Central. Portions were not very big tho. Good place to chill.

I had the chu-toro tuna salad, slow-cooked egg with red wine sauce, the yellow chicken and cheese platter. The chicken was one of the worst I’ve had- so overcooked that every bite was dry and chewy. I couldn’t finish 1/3 of the dish even though it’s not that big! The only okay dish was the slow-cooked egg as it tasted quite good with the red wine sauce.

Service-wise, everyone was quite friendly but the service was not up to fine-dining standards. For instance, I wasn’t even told the kinds of cheese on the cheese platter or which one to start with, or what their bread or sauce was 🤔

Overall an underwhelming experience, partly because of my high expectations i.e. my bad 😇 I’d prefer SOMM for a similar dining experience and price range!

It’s a great experience. The ambience is very welcoming and charming, contemporary decoration. There is a lovely patio but not opened for lunch. I will come back for happy hour at the patio. Amazing 4 Course lunch - the portion is just right for ladies, but a bit small for men and there is a wide selection of wind and cocktail. I chose
a glass of raspberry taste cocktail - the restaurant’s signature. I ordered 2 appetisers;
Scallops are real fresh and tasty.
Foie gras is not pan-seared, instead of apple purée, it serves with artichoke. For the main course, I chose
Pigeon, it is really tender and juicy. Dessert is Earl grey soufflé.
Service was delightful and professional.

The 4 course lunch is a bit pricey but given the food quality, it’s a nice option for celebration in Central.
