Nearly all the classic dim sum dishes are done very well here--the shrimp dumplings are very fresh and plump, and the steamed chicken feet are nice and juicy. There are also some modern twists on the classics--I loved the fried chive dumplings, which are nice and crispy on the outside and soft and succulent and filled with bits of green chive and traditional HK sausages, a festival of colors and flavors at the tip of your chopstick. All the dim sum dishes we had were hits except for the deep fried squid tentacles, which somehow managed to be overly salty and rubbery on the inside and insufficiently coated with crispy breading on the outside, so the whole thing fell apart as soon as you picked up a piece. However, it's a minor setback in what is otherwise a very satisfying dim sum meal. The place is located in the heart of Wanchai and great for visiting out-of-towners who want the authentic HK dim sum experience.
