I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received during my recent visit to the restaurant today at lunchtime.Upon arrival, we were informed that we had to wait for a table. While waiting, I approached the male receptionist to inquire whether the broth contained any shrimp, as I have a severe allergy that can lead to difficulty breathing. It was crucial for me to receive a clear answer.Unfortunately, the staff member seemed unsure and hesitant to provide a definitive response

As a Japanese restaurant in Hong Kong, I expected a higher standard of food safety awareness. In my experiences dining in Japan, staff are always knowledgeable about the ingredients in each dish, especially considering that seafood, eggs, and dairy can trigger allergic reactions for many people. This situation reflects a serious oversight in your restaurant's approach to food safety.
I am deeply disappointed and will not be returning to your establishment. I hope you take these concerns seriously and improve your staff training regarding food allergies and customer service.
