Tasteless Pork Cubes

Went there for the first time yesterday with a friend. Seeing that it's in the name of Ricky, the standard was supposed to be guaranteed but was a bit disappointed. Ordered set lunch 'Pork with Creamed Corn' (can't recall the exact wording in English, 粟米肉粒飯), thinking what new elements would be put into this ordinary dish. Ordered set lunch 'Pork with Creamed Corn' (can't recall the exact wording in English, 粟米肉粒飯), thinking what new elements would be put into this ordinary dish. I kept telling myself not to expect too much as it's unfair to the chef coz he/she was not Ricky himself at all. The dish came, corn and rice were fine, the pork cubes were much larger than ordinary ones but were tasteless. Texture of the pork was fine but simply tasteless. That's the most expensive and tasteless 'Pork Creamed Corn' I've ever had at over HK$100. On the other hand, the avocado & quinoa salad was good, fresh and nicely decorated. Service was fine.
