The deep-fried chicken leg was a standout dish. It arrived piping hot, with a golden-brown crust that was perfectly crispy. The meat inside was juicy and flavorful, seasoned just right. Each bite was a satisfying crunch that left me wanting more.
Next up was the fried garlic squid, which was simply divine. Tender squid pieces were coated in a light batter and fried to perfection, with a generous sprinkling of garlic that added a wonderful aromatic touch. The dish was both savory and slightly sweet, making it a delightful snack that pairs well with the bottled Coke.
The 碗仔翅 was another highlight of my visit. This traditional dish, often misunderstood, was served in a big portion. The broth was rich and flavorful, with delicate textures that kept me savoring every spoonful. It’s a comforting dish that brings back memories of childhood.
The beef tongue was surprisingly tender and well-prepared. Each slice is with a nice balance of seasoning that elevated its natural flavor.
Lastly, I couldn’t resist trying the French fries. They were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, seasoned with just the right amount of salt. While they may seem like a simple side, they perfectly complemented the other dishes and rounded out the meal nicely.
PS: they also have beer.
