Had brunch on Sunday at newly renamed restaurant called LaLa which was taken over by so called ex-Louis chef. We ordered Pate, scampi salad & steak tar tar as starters. The Pate en croute was so tough like keeping in the fridge for a while. The salad with scampi was OK with no surprise. The steak tar tar was nice and fresh. The Pate en croute was so tough like keeping in the fridge for a while. The salad with scampi was OK with no surprise. The steak tar tar was nice and fresh. The main course was their famous grilled yellow chicken for sharing. The chicken arrived our table at 12:55PM but took 19 mins to chop and returned at 13:15PM. In result, the chicken skin wasn’t crispy and it was soft. Don’t understand why it took so long to chop a chicken. When we gave our comment to the French manager, he didn’t accept it and explained it needed to let the chicken cook down. They claimed this dish is exactly as Louis because it was the same chef but I don’t think so. The dessert was very average. Honestly, I won’t go back to this restaurant and I would not recommend to anyone with this experience.
