Went there for lunch today. Ordered the set lunch which included only the main dish and drinks. There's no appetiser and you can add $40 for dessert. I ordered the ribeye steak which was nicely done. The fries were also nice and crispy. The iced tea was Nestle iced tea which I didn't like at all. I would not have ordered iced tea if I knew that it was Nestle's. Aircon was weak and I was sweating the whole time. By the time I finished lunch my t-shirt was all wet already.
My server seemed to be the owner or owner's wife as she wasn't wearing the uniform and she seemed particularly arrogant. She was not that friendly but other waitresses were nice.
It's located along the strip of Stanley so it's facing the bay but it wasn't really a view that I would pay for. I personally think that the view from the Murray House is nicer if you are going for the view or atmosphere.
Overall, I would consider the set lunch which cost $138 NOT good value for money. You can get better food and service at similar price in cwb, soho or Wanchai.
