Went to this shop due to reputation of the Family's original shops elsewhere. Heard its recommended by Mr Choi.To my absolute surprise, the Wontons here are ultra ordinary not to mention the prices are ridiculously high. The wontons are small, the skins are over-boiled and too soft, and the prawn and meat taste isn't distinct - I would say it has more prawn taste than anything, with a bit of fatty pork on the side. Lots of places have better wontons. The noodles are excellent, thin, but not tasty

To my absolute surprise, the Wontons here are ultra ordinary not to mention the prices are ridiculously high.

The wontons are small, the skins are over-boiled and too soft, and the prawn and meat taste isn't distinct - I would say it has more prawn taste than anything, with a bit of fatty pork on the side. Lots of places have better wontons.

The noodles are excellent, thin, but not tasty unfortunately.

Also had the Ginger/Scallions 'lou' Noodles. For nearly $30, u get the smallest plate of noodles ever - like, not even enough for afternoon tea snack. Not much taste in this dish, where usually there is more scallions/spring onion freshness and oil taste. Unbelievably bad for the price.

The other vegetable dishes for $17 - u get like 4 pieces. Ridiculous.

Only good thing here is the wonton soup base (consisting of Dai Dei fish and prawn roe and bit of Gwo Wong) is very good. Wonton is bad. Noodles in the soup is ok, but not the dryed noodles.

Unfortunately, the price let's it down.
