Tenya has arrived in Hong Kong and they have opened a branch in Yoho,Yuen Long.And guessing from the queues for a table its proving to be just as popular as it is in Japan.Offers a variety of tempura sets either served with rice, udon, hot and cold noodles.Ordered rice sets, chose 2 of their "top picks", each includes a miso soup. Offers a variety of tempura sets either served with rice, udon, hot and cold noodles.
Ordered rice sets, chose 2 of their "top picks", each includes a miso soup. Food was served quickly and although the portion looked small it was sufficient.
We did order onsen egg and side pickles as extras.
Servers suggested which tempura to eat first to avoid it getting soggy. Tempura was not at all greasy and good value for the price. The only gripe is they did not offer a side plate to place the tempura as it filled the whole bowl and made it awkward to eat the rice underneath.
Still a welcome addition to Yoho Mall.
