The Xiamen-style “popiah” 🌯 wrap was light and refreshing, with a delicate wrapper encasing a melody of fresh vegetables and herbs.

The Fish Maw and King Crab Meat Thick Soup 🥣 was umami-rich, the gelatinous fish maw perfectly complementing the sweet, succulent crab.

The Squid Poached in Premium Soy Sauce 🦑 was a study in simplicity - the tender squid allowed to shine, heightened by the fragrant garlic and spring onions.

The Slow Cooked A4 Wagyu Beef Chuck Rib 🥩, glazed in a caramelised onion sauce, was meltingly tender, each bite an indulgent experience. And the “Three Yellow Chicken” 🐓 in its bold, fermented red rice wine sauce was a Minnan signature dish to remember.

Even the humble Braised Vegetables “Tofu Box” 🥕🥬 was elevated, the shan shu greens lending a pleasant bitterness to balance the silky tofu.

The Steamed Mud Crab with Sticky Rice 🦀🍚 was a sensory delight - the briny crab infusing the grains with its essence.

And for pudding, the Sweet Taro Paste with Soya Milk Pudding 🍮 was a dreamy blend of creamy and earthy, whilst the Pistachio Filled Coconut Glutinous Rice Roll 🥥 provided a delightful textural contrast.

Every morsel at Ming Pavilion was a testament to the culinary mastery of Fujian cuisine. A truly unforgettable dining experience. 😋👌
