Being attracted by the restaurant spaciousness and old school American fast food interior design, we decided to spend our Friday night here. We made reservation beforehand but walking in shall be okay too. Menu serves south east asian common dishes, quite a lot of options. Shrimp pomelo salad was small. Hard to even share between three of us. There were only two shrimps in the whole dish, kind of expensive to be serving such portions. It was okay. Crispy scallions gave a crunch. Nothing special.
Tom Yum Goong with glass noodle was again okay. Serving in room temperature was a bit let down. It was flavourful but could be spicier. It was loaded with mushrooms which was appreciated. Glass noodle was again little. Difficult to share.
Pad Thai was mehhh...Couldnt taste the thai flavour but just a normal stir fry rice noodle with few shrimps, sprouts and eggs. Just sad. I couldnt comment further.
Bendi Belacan was the best tonight. It was an okra stir fry. Love they chopped into pieces which was easy to be eaten. Very savoury and a hint of sweetness from the loaded onions.
Malaysian chicken satay was again okay (apologise forgot to take a picture). A total of six servings. Each serving was in quite small pieces. Nothing special. Just a charred moist chicken pieces.
Overall, food was nothing wow. Staff was again rushing to close the restaurant, so felt like whole dinner was rushing through....
