Although this place is a bit pricey, the portions and freshness of the food definitely makes up for it. We got the small beef platter, Iberico pork, lobster squid balls, veggie platter, Australian scallops and most impressing, their fish maw chicken soup 🤩 the soup did not get overly salty near the end, which meant I kept having bowls and bowls of the soup 😝 Talking about the beef platter, each cut was tender and full of actual beef flavour, my favourite was the 牛小排. Talking about the beef platter, each cut was tender and full of actual beef flavour, my favourite was the 牛小排. Good mix of meat and fat. The pork also took me by surprise as the ratio of fat and meat were just nice.
Surprisingly, the veggies were SO FRESH. I wasn’t expecting it but apart from the soup, I looooved the veggies. Don’t know if it’s the soup that made the veggies taste extra sweet and fresh? Nonetheless, it helped very much to remove a sense of guilt from all the meat we consumed.
Lastly, their tofu dessert was interesting. Unsure why they had to light up the yellow sugar initially - another gimmick? But loved it as an ending to the meal - cold and sweet!
