GAMBAS AL AJILLO (Spanish Garlic Prawn)

SPAGHETTI CARBONARA
Overall, I was happy with this dish. The carbonara was well balanced and nicely presented - pasta was cooked al dente, the sauce was not too thick and the saltiness of the pancetta ham cut through the heaviness of the cream well. The serving of mushroom was very generous and served to add some bite to the dish. I’d have preferred thick cuts of pancetta but altogether, a delightful dish that suppressed my cravings
SLOW COOKED LAMB SHANK
The star of the dinner and my favourite. A hallmark of slow cooking is the tender and flavourful meat it can produce, and this lamb shank delivered on all accounts! The meat was tasty and fell off the bone with a light pull from the fork. The mash potatoes that accompanied the lamb was no slouch too! It was smooth with a nice buttery taste.
All in all, this was a great experience at a neighbourhood grill house. They had a open kitchen concept for those who’re interested to witness the Grill, and also a nice patio area for those who prefer to Chill 😉
