After queuing for 15 minutes, finally seated! Hope the wait worth it!We ordered the all day breakfast (burger) with sauce serving on the side, tuna don with wasabi avocado sauce, soft shell crab pasta in crab meat sauce and roast beef don. As requested, fully cooked egg was served. The original version is a poached egg. A thick pan fried burger was served on a slightly toasted English muffin. Burger was very juicy and meaty. For beef lover, this is a heaven food as it has a very intense beef flavour. Few Japanese sweet potatoes were served on the other toasted English muffins. It's better to eat them separately instead of together as it was because too much carbohydrates on every bite. Sweet potatoes were sweet and soft. Nice to have some sweetness on this dense heavy dish but only a certain amount. And this dish provided a just right amount. A small side salad also served. The funniest thing was asking to serve sauce on the side but ended serving four types of sauces on side😂 I would recommend to ask for serving on the side if knowing they are going to give 4 types of sauce😅 Palate must be quite a mess.
Tuna don was alright. Quite a lot of tuna was served on a big bowl of rice. Tuna was fresh and perfectly paired with the wasabi avocado sauce. Sauce was given in a perfect amount. A poached egg was also served on top of the rice. Good enough to mix with rice and coated part of the tuna. Not bad.
Roast beef don was definitely a very filling dish😂 Never underestimate thinking it was just a bowl of beef rice. Generous amount of beef was piled on top of the rice and there's was a large poached egg underneath the beef slices. After mixing the rice with the runny egg, rice texture became similar to a risotto. Creamy,sticky and very smooth. Roasted beef was cooked medium rare. Soft and juicy. Each was coated with their secret sauce. Very satiating.
Soft shell crab pasta was alright. Nothing special. Soft shell crab was crispy. I personally do not think the soft shell crab was cohesive with the pasta. Pasta was served too much sauce. Quite a lot of sauce was left even all the pasta was finished. Couldn't taste much crab in the sauce.
Overall, not bad. Worth to wait as speciality food was served!
