First crab set menu is agesssssss I love breaking apart hairy crabs at home but I also wanted to try crab dishes this year, so I went for the set menu ($828) at Ming Court.For starters we had a crab roe dumpling EHICH I BROKE, so i had to slurp up all the juices separatrly hahaha. Then, the spotlight, the hairy crab cameeeeeee I was worried about how I can eat it elegantly in the restaurant, but everyone around us were also dissecting their crab so I was in a comfortable space hahaha the crab was filled with roe, its definitely the best time to have crabs now.
Onto the rest of our crab-filled dishes! This crab, lobster and crispy rice combo sounded super bomb, and those black pearls are vinegar pops that gave off the illusion of caviar hahahaha
The bird's nest soup with crab meant and roe was also really rich, and ithey gave us a generous serving. It came with a pop of ginger tea, perfect to counter the slight greasy oily feeling you get after having crab roe, not that I would ever be sick of it! To make sure its a balanced meal, we also got a huge bowl of spinach with crab meat, and finnaly, a pot of sticky glutinous rice! To finish everything off we had a ginger sweetened soup with a humongous sweet potato dumpling. This ginger soup was much spicer than the ginger tea, and hopefully it would keep my pimples at bay heheheheheheh
