My NY strip steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare, the salad was fresh and crisp—And I loved the fact that they were not skimpy with the shaved Parmesan (as you can see in the pic), baked potato was done right, and how can the Chinese screw up iced lemon tea? (They didn’t—it was quite pedestrian iced tea, and that’s exactly what I wanted). The rice wasn’t spectacular, but with so much other food, it was certainly not a big deal.Service was great. Service was great. They were quite busy on this Sunday night at 6PM, but had staff everywhere, hustling to make sure all guests were handled with care.
Thought it was slightly pricey, but it is HK, and I’m sure is imported beef. HK$300 (about US$40) for all the food shown—most entrees, like my 12 oz strip, came with soup or salad, and 2 sides...Plus a nice loaf of their famous brown bread, reminiscent of what’s found elsewhere in the world at other Outbacks. I was also surprised to be approached for a refill on my iced tea, as most places in China/HK take you to the cleaners on drinks—overpriced beverages and no refills. I had three teas and was only charged for one. (I’m guessing YMMV on Cokes and the like, especially if canned/bottled).
