I have dined in before and am a fan of their food and portion so I thought ordering a takeaway will give me a more or less similar experience. I ordered the Malacca Specialty Assorted w/ Coconut Rice ($72) with Panama Orange & Sweet Plums Drink (comes with the set). The coconut rice tasted amazing, it had a special green colour and captivating texture. I think the variety presented in the assortment was fine but the number of individual items were not in line with how much I expected, Rendage beef and the squid was provided in small amount so overall there were insufficient sides to serve with the rice which was offered in a decent amount. For this reason, I advise you to have your meal in the restaurant rather than getting a takeaway if you care about the serving size as much as I do. I take into account the quantity when considering the quality of my experience, unfortunately, I am a tad disappointed with the shrinkage in size. Though, the drink tasted great as usual. They are great at making drinks as special as they offered on the menu, I’d have to give them that.
