Came here for dinner with a few friends. Good ambience and a very clean environment (including a clean and hygienic bathroom which is always a plus). Food was not too great. We ordered a bottle of sake, beef tongue, lamb rack, mochi with cheese, sake steamed clams, sea snails in spicy sauce, eel rice, and tuna tartare with rice crackers. Came here for dinner with a few friends. Good ambience and a very clean environment (including a clean and hygienic bathroom which is always a plus). Food was not too great. We ordered a bottle of sake, beef tongue, lamb rack, mochi with cheese, sake steamed clams, sea snails in spicy sauce, eel rice, and tuna tartare with rice crackers. Whilst the red meat (beef tongue and lamb rack) and the mochi were nicely done and very aromatic, the seafood dishes were disappointing as they were not fresh at all (clams were slightly bitter, eel was tasteless, tuna tartare had the fishy aftertaste even though we ate them as soon as they were served).

Furthermore, we were told that the appetizers were complementary and were free of charge. However, to our surprise, we were charged for $68 ($74.8 including 10% service charge) for 2 appetizers which was not very honest and ethical for the restaurant. Also, we were not made aware of the time limit of being at the restaurant, we were asked to leave after dining in for 2.5 hours even though the restaurant was half empty and it was nowhere close to its closing time.

We will not come here again and we would much rather go to Sen-ryo or other izakaya.
