The highly prized booth seats were available. A cheeky grin washed across my face as the waitress showed me to my seat offering a perfect view of Wellington Street. I took the advice of the Michelin Inspectors and ordered the 3 topping noodle soup, anxious to dig in after my walk and Star Ferry ride from Mongkok.Bowl arrived, I dug into the assortment of treats atop the broth and noodles. Wow... the fish cake was the size of a golfball but as tender and bouncy as a sponge. Delicious. I'll admit
Bowl arrived, I dug into the assortment of treats atop the broth and noodles. Wow... the fish cake was the size of a golfball but as tender and bouncy as a sponge. Delicious. I'll admit the noodles were not to my taste, a little lacking in flavour when dipped in the broth. However, things did get better once the chilli oil was added.
A fantastic bowl of food that will leave you groaning and loosening your belt buckle. Come for the fish-cake, don't get filled up on the noodles.
