I want to have fine-dining with my husband for his birthday. After I saw the good rating about Brasserie on the Eight, I give it a try. It won't make me disappointed. It's really a fine-dinning restaurant with delicious dishes and professional waiters.(Cos I don't have HSBC platimum card) Even the whole bill I didn't get 15% off, it's still value for money to have fine- dining in Conrad hotel restaurant.I ordered 3-course meal and my husband ordered 4-course meal. I ordered 3-course meal and my husband ordered 4-course meal. When he got a surprise I ordered a mango cheesecake birthday cake for him, he said four course is too much for him, 3 course should be enough.
The following are the dishes we ordered within the set dinner:
fois gras which is big and tasty
loster bisque which is in a big portion and with quite much of loster meat
seabass which is soft and delicious
King prawn with lamb chop is good according to my husband
mango cheesecake taste refreshing not so filling so that it come at last, but I still could finish the whole slice
My husband is very satisfied about my arrangement.Of course,I can tell he was very happy to bring the birthday card with our photo taken by waiter, birthday bear and birthday cake home.
