Although our booking was for 17:30, we arrived at around 17:00. The restaurant was not very busy, and we were the only customers at the time. A
staff member greeted us warmly, informed us that the restaurant owner was not present, and allowed us to choose any table.
We ordered their signature starter, Fuchka, as well as the classic curry chicken, garlic naan, and Mango Lassi. The staff recommended the Mango
Lassi, emphasising that it was made with fresh mango and yogurt. While we were not provided with a drink menu, we trusted the recommendation.
Everything was satisfactory until we received the bill and noticed that the Mango Lassi was charged at $60 each, totalling $120 for two drinks, plus a 10% service charge. We found this price unexpectedly high, especially since we later discovered through OpenRice that the Mango Lassi is
typically priced at $42.
We are disappointed by this discrepancy and feel that we were unfairly charged. As first-time customers, we trusted the staff’s recommendation
and expected transparency in pricing. This experience has left us feeling misled and has significantly impacted our overall impression of the
restaurant.
We hope this feedback can be addressed to ensure fairness and consistency for future customers.
