This time we went to try something new at mid-levels - which was an Indian home-like restaurant! It was quite a small family-run-like restaurant with only like 6 to 8 seats indoors. It was busy during our visit so two eaters had to eat outdoors. There was no service charge on their menu. They had both Chinese and English versions for their menu.We ordered two mains, 1 naan and 1 drink to share.Mixed Grill Platter at $98When it was served to us, the very exciting cooking sound on the teppanyaki l

Mixed Grill Platter at $98
When it was served to us, the very exciting cooking sound on the teppanyaki lingered for a long while before it died down. But no stink lingered on our clothes/hair afterwards. Portion was huge as there were a whole Tandoori Leg including the upper and lower legs, a long piece of Lamb Seekh Kebab, one piece of Fish Tikka and one piece of Chicken Tikka. They were all well seasoned and were slightly spicy and appetising, except for the Chicken Tikka which was actually a bit sour. And don’t underestimate the veggies at the bottom. I think they should be raw onion salad, although not specified on the menu but I guessed so because it was the same as those for the other Tandoori Chicken Legs we ordered. I particularly liked the sliced cabbages which had absorbed the spices on top.

Similar to the mixed grill platter, the very exciting cooking sound on the teppanyaki lingered for a long while before it died down. Please also note the mist flowing out from the teppanyaki. There were four huge pieces of chicken legs which were all well seasoned with Indian spices. They were slightly spicy and were very appetising. The skin of the chicken legs was removed which was so considerate of them! Like the mixed grill platter, I liked the sliced cabbages in particular among the raw onion salad. I liked this grilled dish even more!
Cheese Naan at $30
The naan should go great with curry.

The mango flavor lassi was served to us very soon after our order. It was slightly sweet and a bit sour, seemingly made from goat milk. Quite appetising and good to wash down the spicy food.
As you can imagine, service was quite warm as the person-in-charge asked us for comments on his food after we had finished our food. Prices were quite reasonable as our stomachs were both filled up after spending $122 each on this dinner.
