I really want to love this restaurant given the excellent and attentive service and the beautiful interior but food was really quite mediocre. Since I'm greedy, I tried both the oven-roasted veal chop and line-caught french sea bass.Oven-roasted veal chop 🐮 ($410)The thick cut beef was cooked medium rare but to my surprise it wasn't succulent or tender enough. Since I'm greedy, I tried both the oven-roasted veal chop and line-caught french sea bass.
Oven-roasted veal chop 🐮 ($410)
The thick cut beef was cooked medium rare but to my surprise it wasn't succulent or tender enough. The flavour that the clams, fresh chives and clotted cream sauce brought was delicious tho.
Line-caught French Sea Bass ($390)
The fish itself was quite succulent and soft. But since the fish was poached and not much seasonings were given, the overall taste of the dish was really quite bland.
Petit fours to finish the meal- these sweet treats were better than the mains haha
Food wasn't impressive but waiters were very friendly and helpful. Overall the opulent and classy restaurant is still a nice place for dinner if food isn't a big thing for you.
