Celebrated a good friend’s birthday here. We ordered oysters for starter followed by Perigord duck foie gras and Brittany bouchot mussels. Foie gras with truffle tasted delicious and generous in portion so did the mussels. They serve bread & chips (cannot remember exactly the name but you can taste herbs). Both butter and bread was so so not my fav kind. Waited for around 20-30 minutes for the next course to arrive. It was alright because we enjoyed the starter and small chats while waiting. We
Floor team was polite and explained the dishes well. A senior one was humorous too and a lady offered to take photos when they served our birthday dessert, petit four together with a lovely musical box. Nice gesture in all and the floor team deserve compliment except for the champagne refill part. The hazelnut petit four tasted good. I ordered passion fruit soufflé served with chamomile sorbet which tasted tad sweet but very aromatic. Sorbet was so so not a-la-minute as a whole piece of ice at the bottom melted in my mouth. My girlfriend had the fruit tart and she said it tasted fruity and delicious. My honest opinion the sorbet was overrated hence, the disappointment. I was thinking maybe the fruit tart and chocolate would have tasted better than the soufflé. In all, I would still return for the view and experience but definitely have room for improvement.
