Chueca, located at a Gough Street, is a contemporary restaurant serving up traditional tapas and Spanish classics with a modern twist. Each person can choose two appetizers. How exciting! Ordered Chef's Rusa, Padròn Peppers, Ham Croquettes and Gambas al Ajillo. Every dish was perfectly seasoned and cooked on point. Chef's Rusa - one of a kind topped with ikura which added more texture. Croquettes were a standout - crunchy surface wrapping up creamy mashed potatoes and savory jamon.
As for the main course, we picked Spring Chicken - served with pipping hot thick fries, while the mildly flavored chicken had a thin layer of crispy skin with juicy meat, and Truffled Angus Beef Cheek - very tender and gelatinous beef cheek in a meaty gravy topped with shaved truffle.
Concluded the meal with a foamy and refreshing Coconut and Fresh Berries, and a rich and dense Basque Style Cheesecake with a nice caramelized burnt.
Overall a huge menu with satisfying quality. Great value for money. Cozy seating and good vibes to chill and have a booze.
