First, it looked the part with clear bi-colours on the outside. Once cut opened, one could see discernible layers which was good and in this case, some raspberry jam was oozing out. To be honest, raspberry has very mild flavour and it would be hard to incorporate such flavour in a bread.
Taste- wise, the crust was slightly crispy, not overtly buttery, but the raspberries centre was jammy and rather too sweet for me. The sweetness, unfortunately, overpowered the buttery note of the croissant.
