We were longing for a good Italian restaurant for the first part of our wedding celebration and we picked this one largely because we had read some good review online.We came at 12nn and the restaurant was 1/4 full. Selfishly, we thought it was good to us as we would not need to queue at buffet table. The Salad & Desserts Buffet was $218 each. If one wanted to take starter or main course, $60 and $90 would be added to your bill respectively.
My wife preferred to take Fettuccine con Ragout di Pesce Adriatico as starter and I took Maialino con Cavolo Rosse Mele Glassate as main course.
The buffet table offered a good variety of Italian dishes and sure one would be delighted to explore the many types of authentic Italian food.
However, the Fettuccine and the Pork were below our expectation. The presentation of the latter was quite odd to me with only the cooked pork on the plate.
It was a bit disappointing as we looked up to higher expectation with the extra cost we paid. We concluded that we would feel more satisfied if we just had the buffet.
I always think desserts are the key elements to lure clients to revisit the restaurant and hence I had much higher expectation of the quality of the desserts. I was again let down unfortunately.
May be next time we come on a Sunday and see if there would be a difference.
