We ordered one Borsch and they are kind enough to give us a bowl for us to share. Some cheese and beetroot were in the soup but not too overpowering, so you can still enjoy it if you don't like beetroot just like me.
The second dish we had was OX tongue stewed in clay pot. It looked like a meringue soup with a pastry on top, the waitress came and asked us to take a photo before she do her work. Then she would helped us to cut the pastry into pieces so we could have it easily. I tried to dip the pastry into the creamy sauce, oh it tasted so good, so creamy so thick and you can tasted cheese and mushroom in that sauce. Very genius way of not wasting the yummy sauce. And the OX tongues were so tender.
The third dish we ordered were Chicken Kiev. And it looked so good with the chicken on the sides, chips on the other, some salad green on top and some white sauce delicately dressing on the dish rim. When we cut through the chicken fillet, there's another surprise, some buttery sauce ran out from the chicken fillet and it smelled so good. The chicken fillet was hollowed to carry all that mighty melted butter. The chicken filled was covered with the fried bread crumb which was crispy and the meat was tender and succulent and for the butter for the nourishment. The chips were a bit soaked tho but dipping it with the white sauce was still delicious.
And we ordered Stew of venison in red wine, it was in a very hot stone bowl and was boiling, perfectly instagrammable. The red wine sauce was decent to have with the potatoes and mushrooms, and the venison was definitely tender too. It was our first time to have venison, the texture was quite similar to pork but the taste was something different, its not the gamy of the lamb but the gamy of the venison. Anyway that was a good experience, I just don't think I will go for it again.
Then we had the Ukrainian honey cake the the dessert. The cream between layers was very satisfying but overall its too sweet, should definitely share it between friends.

題外話/補充資料:
The restaurant played some really nice relaxing music and we witnessed a proposal ! sweet!
And if you like them on FB/IG they will give you a shot of BURNING VODKA hahaha
