Trying out QUE, a new Yoshoku restaurant that has recently opened in MOKO! They specialise in donburi’s, sushi tacos and beautiful desserts prepared by award winning chef Rin Horiuchi. 🇯🇵 Pic 1️⃣: 𝐐-𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 / 加賀焙茶蛋糕 - $72 hkd 🍰🍵— Had a hard time picking out which one of these cakes to try, but I ended up going for hojicha which is less common! — Had a hard time picking out which one of these cakes to try, but I ended up going for hojicha which is less common! The hojicha mousse was thick, creamy and had a strong hojicha taste to it. The tea flavour was aromatic but not overpowering. I loved all the various layers and textures this cake had to offer and my favourite layer was definitely the Japanese pear jelly which added a nice fruity, floral scent to the dessert and went perfectly with the hojicha flavour.

— Accidentally ordered another tea flavour dessert but still very good! The black tea ice cream could’ve been slightly more rich in my opinion as it was a bit too sweet for me. Though the black tea sauce that came on the side helped enhance the tea flavours. Loved the vanilla feuilletine crunch which was flaky and delicious.

— So good! The pasta was perfectly cooked and soaked up all the goodness of the sauce. The crab meat tomato sauce had the perfect consistency and was really well seasoned too. The soft shell crab was nicely deep fried, giving it a super crunchy texture and the batter was actually really well seasoned which was a surprise.
